I've seen other reviews complaining that you don't get the amount shown in the picture, so I'll put this out there: saffron is an extremely expensive spice, and the product listing specifies how much you will receive (depending on your choice) in ounces - if you don't know how much your chosen fraction of an ounce is, that's your problem not the seller's. I was very pleased with my purchase, and recieved exactly the amount that I was expecting to.

Not sure if I got an incorrectly packaged bottle. But there was less than one teaspoon of saffron in bottle. Ignore the picture in the ad, nowhere near that amount in my bottle. I would like to know from the sender if this is what I was supposed to receive. In the photo I attached the bottle has not even been opened.

This is not premium quality saffron. The threads contained yellow parts, not just red. The red color was not as deep as another. The smell was not as strong, but much more musty, so maybe batch was pretty old. The taste was not nearly as strong by weight as another I bought either.But it is real saffron...

Liked the texture & color - seem to be original! Tested soaking 4-5 threads in 1/2 cup of boiled milk to offer to God. Milk turned yellow and the threads did not lose their color of redness. Smelled the flavor too! If artificial red color added to coconut scrapes (happened few times) and sold, the redness goes off & the coconut remains at the bottom and no saffron flavor in the milk. Test result: positive (original).Can be added to all milk sweets and also to any rice pudding; specifically for adding to Sweet Pongal - on occasion is my preference!

I don’t know if this is good product or not. Bought it for supplement (health benefits). Would be great if there was a company that certified it as real saffron so you can be sure you are getting what you think you purchased.
