Does the job
It works for Comcast(5 years strong). Not sure what the 1 star reviewers problem is but I've never had an issue.

it works fine, no bells or whistles
Xfinity Comcast leases me this thing for 10 a month, it works fine, no bells or whistles, that's the only reason I give it four starts, no exciting or distinguishing features, but it does work.
