So far the best gloves I was able to find anywhere. They're comfortable, easy to put on and fit well and the leather is nice quality. Very happy with the purchase. The padding in the palms is very nice, thick, and has great grip. So far they lasted very well. I use them for working out at the gym. Highly recommend these!

I’ve spent several years finding a suitable replacement for my leather fingerless gloves I had back in the day. These Metolius gloves are just like what I had! First, the quality from the leather all the way through the stitching is outstanding! The leather is Not the paper thin, tissue strong, and I’ve had the unfortunate luck of buying many of them. Second, my life revolves around my chair, so to speak, lol! Being in a wheelchair, I’ve gone through my fair share of junky gloves, followed by quickly pitching into the trash. This go around I’ve actually purchased two pairs, one for each of my two wheelchairs. Nothing sucks more than leaving the house, only to find out later your gloves are still in the house. So, why are these so great for people in chairs you ask. There’s plenty of coverage on your thumb so you don’t get those sores from the edge of the leather rubbing it raw. There’s a thick comfortable padding on the palm that aids in braking but keeping your palms protected. Yeah, I just use my palms, and push down on my tires to slow down or stop. There is one modification I’ve made that you may or may not want to do. I personally don’t need or use the velcro tab for securing, it just gets in my way and rubs my wrist. I can’t call the tab a negative simply because a lot of us like having that tab, but my preference is just to remove it. If you roll like me, save your hands and get these right here!

Like the gloves. The ones that were sent weren’t the color I wanted but I kept them anyway. Solid build, thick leather and secure closing Velcro. I ordered a M and realized that I should have gotten a L. My advice would be to get a size larger than you think you need. If they don’t fit, exchange them.

perfect for extreme rappelling! I have used these gloves under grueling conditions and these gloves continue to stay in perfect shape. I have taken them on 8 hour canyon hikes where they are soaked and they keep coming back. I can't say enough good things about them. Buy them and enjoy them.

I purchased these to work on a high rope challenge course, climbing wall, and zip lines. They are definitely worth it!

These gloves are extremely well made. I do believe they would have served me well and was excited to receive them. Unfortunately they were too small and they don't make a larger size. I think glove manufacturers do themselves a grave injustice by not offering bigger sizes than just XL. Wish I could have kept them. If you have small hands they are worth a look.

I used these for almost everything from bicycling, landscaping, carpentry, longboarding, cold mornings, pretty much anything but their intended purpose. I HATE losing the sensitivity of my fingertips, and unless it is very cold, I will always choose these. They are longer than the typical fingerless gloves. The leather is of very good quality, a little stiff at first but once broken in they are so perfect. The only reason I replaced my first pair as they fell out of a pocket and the lawn mower blade tried them on. Otherwise, I keep two pairs, one for dirtier work and one for day to day. Oh, and they have a reenforced hole in at the inside of the wrist to facilitate being placed on a carabiner when not in use.
