CCS stands for Collapsed Cell Structure. CCS Technology is Lake Country’s innovative pad design that saves product by controlling product release onto the work surface. Dozens of dimples in the foam collect excess polish and reserve it until it is needed on the pad’s face (the area that is in contact with the paint). This design prolongs your working time and reduces product waste.CCS Technology offers improved pad performance. CCS Smart Pads work on every type of paint, from conventional clear coats to the harder, scratch-resistant clear coats used by the industry leading vehicle manufacturers. Lake Country's range of foam compositions, combined with the right chemicals provides you with a prescription to correct almost any paint imperfection on any paint finish. What are the benefits of CCS Technology? Slows rate of polish absorption – As discussed above, the pads are slow to absorb products and therefore the paint benefits from a longer working time. The same is true of liquid waxes and sealants. Improves operator control – CCS pockets gradually release polish as needed by the operator. Since these areas are not absorbing polish, they serve as little reservoirs until the excess polish is needed. Prevents pad skipping – CCS pockets reduce surface tension allowing the operator to run pad flat on a working surface. Basically, the CCS pockets break up the smooth surface of the foam to eliminate the sticking and skipping that occurs when two perfectly flat surfaces meet. Creates less heat – CCS pockets provide several points where the foam is not completely touching the paint. This reduces friction and therefore heat generated between the pad and the paint. OEM approved - OEM tests confirm CCS pads out-perform convoluted pad designs. CCS foam pads provide ample surface contact to effectively work the paint. The CCS pockets are small so they don't affect the amount of foam continuously touching the paint during operation.

Just buy won't regret
I used these after repainting a hood for my son's car. They worked great. Never had one separate from polisher. Very tough do not fall apart.

These are Great Pads!!
First of all, I'm new to this. I'm using a $69 DA I bought on Amazon. I really like it! It came with a 6" backing pad and I've been using Chem Guys 6" pads. I've done several cars & trucks with this set up and it's worked really well. I watched a lot of YouTube. One guy, Dallas Paint Correction said he like 5" pads and he talks about Lake Country pads. Now that I'm using these 5" Lake Country pads I totally agree. Somehow they just feel "right". Better control, better focus on problem areas, etc. I'm using 3D ONE for my first step and finishing with 3D Speed. Water beads well and it lasts a while. Orange pads to start and white to finish. Outstanding results!! The pads clean up well, and for about $5 each you can't beat them.

Good pad combo
Very good pads, this combo pact is a good value and the pad types needed to do paint correction.

Good Quality polishing pads. Results not as good as I'd hoped - but I'm assuming it was me.
My 2018 Avalon (silver) under direct sunlight reflection has light "spider webs" and a few areas with more noticeable scratches. This being my first experience, I used a PC DA polisher with 5" LC backing plate with 5.5" LC CCS White foam pads on the spider webs and 3" Meguiars backing plate with orange LC flat orange 3" pad on the more obvious scratches.Although I used little pressure on the white pads, it often stopped spinning.(I marked the backing plates.) I used 4-5 pea size drops of 3D Speed on dry white pads. Perhaps I should've used more 3D speed, or used the orange pads?I eased up on the pressure so as to get more of a slow spin which left a light translucent haze that easily wiped off. There was a noticeably enhanced shine, but little reduction of the spider webs and scratches. Pads were fairly easy to clean.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but wonder if there's anything I should've done differently.I welcome any tips or suggestions for next time.

Very Good Product
Finally! The right texture pad at a decent price.I prefer these to almost anything I've purchased to date. I've tried the hex and several others, but these work best for my particular application. Easy enough to clean, good lifespan.

highly recommend
These pads are awesome from there ability to cut/polish as advertised to clean up. They spread the compound/ polish very uniformly and I never had any issue with deformation. These bar none, beat out chem guys hex.

Durable but Thirsty
These pads hold up way better than the Chemical Guys pads. However there are way more "thirsty". Takes alot of product to keep it spreadable.Even with a lot of product they still don't sling it all over the place. Which is nice.I deducted a star because they are so thirsty.Just make sure to fully seat it onto polisher. Had one where velcro buckled. Can only assume I didn't have it seated properly.

Great value for the money last a long time
great pads Great a little thinner than some of the others but work perfect. I detail cars for a hobby and some pennies and have used most every brand some are better summer worse, about the same as all the others for general usage. Remember it’s the pad with the compound and polish and the cars finish that determines your final outcome so be aware of this no one pad or polish is going to be perfect for every course finish you’re going to have to test various products.
