BelOMO Pilad P1x42 Weaver. Russian Red Dot Scope Collimator Sight. 4 MOA

This is for single reticle, 4MOA dot. Pay attention to what is for sale vs reading other articles that describe the 3 reticle with "T ." 4MOA is quit large at further distances and will cover the target. This would be best suited for closer distances.Hieght: This sits fairly high in comparison to low positioned AK optics (like AR 1/3 cowitness tall) . Depending on the platform, a stock a cheek riser may be needed or this will be an uncomfortable chin weld. Do to its height this may work best on a PCC, AR9 or Shotgun platform.Fit/Finish: Matte anodized finish and markings are clear. Bonus rubber boot optic cover included.Glass: Clear glass with minimal coatings present a nice clear view on this. Shooting experience is not overshadowed with dark tints (looking at you MRO). Further, dark tints can increase darkened areas in say an unlit room. Pilad does not have this issue.Window: Nice large window. This appears slightly larger than the Holosun 510C / 512 for comparison.Battery: Single 2032. Easy changeout with a top loaded scope-like coin/finger cap.Battery life is on the lower 1000hr side. Although still much longer than any LPVO life, this is a something to maintain depending on its intended purpose.Technology: This is low frills 4 MOA with 7 Brightness settings. No shake awake but the power button is located up front enabling it to be quickly found without looking at the unit. Hook finger press and its on.Mounting: This states for Weaver rails but seems to also fit 1913 rails fine. No quick detach.This will update as needed.

Very sturdy yet light. As usual with this kind of open sight it does have its limitations (dust and rain can block/distort the emitter window), and it has the usual sky blue tint most Russian glass has. Glass is well seated with recoil blocks built into the frame for added support. Haven't had any problems with zero drift yet (although I haven't had much range time this past year since it was 2020). Apparently it's no longer being made for this model, but the "T" sight is a nice reticle, in my opinion just as eye-drawing as the Eotech "ring of death" and capable of some ranging ability if you figure your drops along the vertical line Also, trying it on an AR platform it comes to about co-witness.

5 Stars. Excellent quality and great value. This company in Russia, Vomz (who actually builds the optic), has an excellent customer service track record and does ALL manufacturing in Russia. The Pilad P1x42 is their most popular “open design” red dot sight. It is recommended for use on rifles, carbines and shotguns. It is ideal for Saiga 12 and Vepr 12 shotguns and is rated for 12 gauge use. It is built like a tank and the aluminum shroud is highly robust and very thick. The dot is clearer than my Trijicon RMR. Excellent value for the money and quality is more substantial than typical red dots in this price range. Using mine with a Renata lithium battery from Switzerland. Great battery life.

Amazing optic! The dot is more clear and defined than my buddy's aimpoint PRO and though you don't get the battery life, this is an amazing optic for range shooting... though the build is impeccable and I'm sure it could stand up to combat (but I'll stick to etched reticles for SHTF guns) the 3 reticle options are all perfect for close quarters ( 3/4 cross) out to precision shooting with the single dot or dot and 3/4 cross both being extremely fine and sharp, and I usually get starbursts from red dots. Quality piece if you're looking to top off your AK with something a bit more authentic without breaking the bank or honestly I'd put it on anything I'm so pleased with it. To heck with single dots and 65 moa circles. Embrace the comblock reticles because boy do they look cool (plus they provide a reference for leveling your rifle)

Edge to edge clear vision. Clear dot, not crispy. Sturdy hull. Stands recoil of 12ga. User friendly buttons. Having a little parallax error when compared to high quality optics, but not a problem unless you want to shoot a cup plate from 70 yards. The only issue is, battery cap is a bit high , so it blocks the light from the led diode at lower part of the window. So, you lose the sight of the dot if you lean your cheek low against the stock. A cheek riser may solve the problem

It is well priced and havent had any issues with it. I found it to not be bright enough even on the highest settings on a really sunny day. I still like the sight though.

Ran on a KR-9. A few shots into a mag and it would just switch off. I could turn it back on and it's power up fine, but then another few shots and it was off. I checked the battery, switch, nothing I could reasonably do would fix it.Ended up taking it off and leaving it off.

Great shipping times on a hard to get in America optic. Not the best red dot out there but awesome to have on the AK platform. The different reticles are fun to have and it is really well made. If you have an AK get one you won’t regret it!

Or, le viseur en demi croix expliquais mon choix de viseur HoloJe réfléchi à renvoyer le colis si je n' arrive pas à activer la fonctionSinon colis complet, et matériel de qualité

Certes plus lourd et plus gros que les Doctors, mais robuste et fiable... et surtout 3 fois moins cher. Monté sur une 30 30. Les 3 moa sont bien adaptés à la battue.
