Metronome Tuner

I bought this because I wanted a metronome. Yeah, I know all our phones can be an ultra-fancy metronome too, but I find it extraordinarily useful to have a stand-alone metronome so I can do better things with my phone (like record myself or whatever). You might too.Anyhow, it works great as a metronome. A dial would be better than buttons to change the speed (bpm), but the up/down buttons certainly does the job. It has adjustable volume and even a few beat patterns. It has a built-in speaker so you can hear the clocks, or you can have the audio come out the output jack into your headphones. Nice.I didn’t buy it for the tuner capabilities, but it works great as a tuner too. Surprisingly great. I might actually use it as a tuner even though I have a lot of those clip on tuners around the house.This takes AAA batteries, which is nice because they’re very common. And you can turn off the backlight, so hopefully the batteries will last a long time.It has a little stand build-in, which is adequate. I wish it had a little clip so I could attach it to my music stand.In all, considering features, function, build quality, and price, this deserves a full 5 stars.

Tuner is great - I just recently moved and almost everything I own is STILL "in transit" with the movers after TWO WEEKS meaning all I have is what I brought with me in my car. One of those items was my hammered dulcimer. Because it was in my car, I knew it needed a tune up...sadly, my tuner is on that truck. I wanted to play my HD so purchased this tuner and am now tuned up and happy to be playing.

Ok, this is a really great product as a metronome, but if your thinking about purchasing this for a tuner, it might not be a smart choice. After using this to try to tune a violin, a guitar, and a bass it has always tuned them too low and it wont pick up some high and low notes.

I'm a full time music teacher and I upgraded to this tuner to use in my studio because my previous korg tuner did not have a backlight and several students struggled to see it. The tap in function for metronome is IDEAL for teaching as well as learning. I also really like that the backlight has settings for brightness. All around a great tuner. My only complaint is that the line out isn't a quarter inch, but that's pretty negligible.

I got this for my 12 yr old son and just handed it to him. A week later I asked him how it was working out and he excitedly said "it works very well". He was able to figure it out and get it to work without my help and went on to rattle the cool things he can do with it. For me it was just the right value for my money.

Tuner is easy to use, and the display is easy to read. Haven't used the metronome feature yet, but it seems to work ok. Have to see how long the batteries last.

The functions are fine. It takes a hard push and hold to turn on the tuner or metronome. Looks great though. Have gotten lot's of compliments on the appearance surprisingly.

A cheaper alternative to my old Korg metronome. Works nearly as well except there’s no way to skip through each tempo marking, and the tap-tempo button is less sensitive.

Il metronomo e l'accordatore sono ottimi, ma non esiste la possibilità di farli lavorare in contemporanea, così come promesso dalla descrizione sul sito! Questo è il motivo per cui ho messo 4 stelle! Il volume del metronomo è più che sufficiente per l'utilizzo domestico, un po basso se utilizzato con strumenti rumorosi. Il click non è però del tipo fastidioso, vedi alcuni Korg, e le modalità dei tempi disponibili è addirittura superiore al korg TM60! Sono comunque inclusi tutti gli standard di tempo più comuni. L'accordatore è invece Favolos!! Ho fatto un confronto con il TC POLYTUNE 2 e sono rimasto sbalordito su quanto sia preciso questo accordatore cinese!! Questo denuncia anche pochissimi centesimi di errore, mentre il TC considera già accordato lo strumento!! Veramente unico per il prezzo!! Non è reattivo come il TC, che rileva le note anche suonando scale a moderata velocità! Il modello cinese non è così rapido ma dubito che qualcuno accordi a velocità ultra! Sotto questo aspetto, l'accordatore cinese è invece decisamente piu reattivo del famoso accordatore a clip Cliq UberTuner, che sfigura grandemente sia in reattivita che in precisione!! Non ho trovato l'accordatore ballerino, come alcuni affermano, una volta trovata l'altezza della nota, lì rimane! Utile anche il generatore di suoni, che offre suoni su diverse ottave! La grafica è MOLTO bella e ultra luminosa!!Le caratteristiche presenti nella foto allegata, daranno chiare indicazioni su cosa riceverete all'acquisto, tante di queste differiscono però da quanto indica il sito! Sarebbe corretto modificare le nunerose inesattezze! Amazon è l'incaricato alla spedizione, e dovrebbe informare il venditore delle molte inesattezze o false informazioni!Detto questo, io lo acquisterei nuovamente, e per quanto non abbia la funzione metro/tuner simultaneo, ho deciso di non rendere il prodotto ma tenerlo senza rimorsi alcuni!!

Si je met que 2 étoiles, pour la précision de cet appareil, c'est qu'il est il est incapable d'afficher l'harmonique principale quand on est loin de la fréquence de résonance de la corde.Par contre une fois que le réglage est à peu près juste ( 2 1% en fréquence) il devient performant et détecte correctement la note, et on peut finir de régler la note de manière précise. Pour les basses fréquences: octave 1 et 2, il faut utiliser le capteur de vibration avec une prise jack fourni avec l'appareil , qu'on fixe sur une zone en saillie du cadre du piano. Pour les octaves 3 à 7, le micro intégré suffit.LES GROS DEFAUT DE CET APPAREIL: il n'affiche pas la fréquence de l'harmonique principale, donc on ne sait pas où on en est!Et quand il affiche une note, on ne sait pas de quelle octave !!!!! Ceci n'est pas un détail. Car si de l'octave 3 à 5 il affiche fidèlement toujours une même note détectée (donc il détecte à peu près bien l'harmonique principale ) il n'en va pas de même pour la 1,2, 6 et 7: pour ces intervalles soit il n'affiche rien , soit il affiche une note de valeur aléatoire (sans toucher au réglage de la corde évidemment) SAUF quand on approche la fréquence de résonance de la corde comme je l'ai dit plus haut.========En RÉSUMÉ: avec un piano droit Pleyel cadre bois, totalement désaccordé, qui n'a pas servi (et donc pas accordé) depuis plus de 40 ans ==> IMPOSSIBLE de faire le job avec cet instrument de mesure, sauf si on est un vrai musicien qui sait reconnaitre toutes les notes et # rien qu'à l'oreille, et donc capable de faire un réglage de toute ses cordes rien qu'à l'oreille, AVANT de fignoler avec cet appareil.Ce n'est pas mon cas. Donc j'aurai été incapable de régler ce fameux piano, avec seulement cet appareil!==Heureusement avec le micro interne d'un portable HP Elitebook 8740, et l'accordeur logiciel Lingot (standard des distrib Linux)j'ai pu faire le job, en utilisant l'accordeur Wegrower WM-100, que comme confirmation de la mesure Lingot et aussi le tuning fin sur l'octave 1,2 et 7. Lingot affiche lui sur l'octave 2 à 7 la fréquence de l'harmonique principale et la Note et l'octave correspondante. Ce qui facilite le travail.Sur l'octave 1, il affiche une harmonique F0x2 ou F0x3 jusqu'à ce qu'on soit très proche de la fréquence nominale F0, et là seulement il affiche la fréquence F0, comme le Wegrower qui n'affiche quelque chose que quand on est dans ces mêmes circonstances.=======EN CONCLUSION: pour le Wegrower WM-100: utile sur les octave 1 à 7 pour le réglage fin une fois la corde, vibrant très proche de sa valeur nominale
