GotohMagnum Lock-Trad 3+3 Guitar Tuners with Keystone Knobs, Gold

I love these

unlike my experience with members of the opposite....oh never mind, I digress.I was replacing the gold grovers on my Peerless Firefox Custom, and wanted keystone knobs AND I wanted them to be locking tuners. I saw these and ordered them up. They arrived quickly, and I had them installed and the guitar restrung in 15 minutes.They are very stable, and I have zero tuning issues with them. They're not as smooth as my Schallers, but they are the equivalent of the grovers they replaced, but these are better looking and string changes take seconds in the event of breakage.The only thing that kind of bugs me is the fact that the locking wheel is silver vs. the rest of the key being golden in color. It's a lot more pronounced difference than the photo shows. No worries though, no one sees the back of my headstock but me :)

These tuners are absolutely gorgeous to start with! The open back gearing is beautiful. This conversion took me less than 10 minutes and is well worth the upgrade! The universal plates made this so easy and add a lot of bling to the back of the headstock! No drilling so if I ever want to sell the guitar I haven’t ruined anything. The gearing is super smooth and the locks work perfectly. I highly recommend these for any guitar.

just installed them on my les paul yesterday so time will tell but they look great with the gold gotoh bridge and tailpiece i installed as well. gradually moving toward locking tuners on all my guitars especially the ones with the 3+3 headstocks.

These are great tuners...the gold tone is really classy and the locking tuners work great. The gold tone is a little more like a rose gold. I don’t know why all guitars don’t have locking tuners...restringing takes 1/3 the time. It is a very useful upgrade and these are a great choice in gold or chrome.
