Natural Conditioner & Moisturizer

I bought the almond & vanilla one and it smells so good. It's not over powering either. Matter of fact just bcz the smell is so light I'd never imagined the smell would linger on him this long. He smells good even days later. No lie, I have 2 dogs and I know how hard & expensive it is to properly care for our pets. This is one of the reasons I'm giving this review. The other reason im jumping for joy. Bcz the majority of the time after a bath the next day or two, he's smells funky like fritos again!! Uggghh. My dog went out in the rain 2 days after his bath, and I just knew he would slowly start stinkin again, but he didn't!! And it left his coat is soft, I could tell a difference after I dried him. Don't judge it until you're all done grooming. I kept saying the whole time I was giving him a bath, oh no, nope, not buying this again! It took the next day for me to see the difference. I believe I found gold, but I don't want to say it too loud, they might raise the price. The only thing I didn't like, I had to use a lot of shampoo just get him soapy all over his body. When I rinsed him I saw the dirt and hair that was coming off of him so maybe I won't have to use so much on his next bath. The shampoo is black and my dog is white, I could see where I forgot to go back over where I put additional soap. But it makes me wonder if the shampoo I was using in the past that was white or clear, was I really gettin all the soap off of him, hmm? Could this be part of the reason why he was scratching and skin flaky in some places. And I take my time to rinse good too, but you can never really tell if you got all the soap off with alot of these shampoos. I'd rather deal with using a lot of shampoo in one bath time versus having to give him a bath every 2 weeks bcz he stinks so bad and scratching. I love it so much I ordered 2 more bottles. It's pricey but worth it. But don't take my word for it, gettcha some and thank me later! 🤗 Update- my dog still till smells good and its been, I think a week. The scent is much lighterbut I can still smell the scent. Gave my other baby a bath 2 days ago and he has a lot of fur. I'm not going to lie it drove me crazy bcz it didn't lather. It's weird it lathers in some places but it disappears fast. And you feel like he's not getting clean and the hair feels coarse on top of no lather. Anyways, he smells good too. He had a stronger scent on him for some reason. After I dried him his fur was so soft. So wait till you're done then you'll feel better about your purchase. **ANOTHER UPDATED ** Okay, so I've been back and forth on this shampoo. I really want to love it but the no lather thing is a big down fall. I put a big hand full and will not lather, it won't even feel like there's soap there, it feels like I'm bathing, well feels like I'm rinsing him bcz there's nothing there. It takes so long to give them a bath it has my back hurting so back I'm nearly in tears. Maybe if they get enough reviews on the shampoo NOT LATHERING they will fix it.

This shampoo is fantastic! It takes some getting used to because it doesn't "lather up" like (pretty much) all dog shampoos do. I appreciate the fact that this is a dark (almost black) color, so you can see exactly where you apply it. Once you get used to that lack of lather, you'll love it. The clean scent stays with the dog for weeks! YES WEEKS! My dogs come out squeaky clean and stay that way for longer than any other shampoo I've tried (and I've tried WAY too many). Yes, it is a strong scent but I LOVE Patchouli so that is not a problem for me. When your dog (in my case, dogs) smells like "dog," the minute you step inside your home (no matter how clean it may be), it is the first thing your nose picks up. With this shampoo, my home smells clean (as it should and as it is). I LOVE that my 3 dogs can run out (even in the rain), come back in, and still smell clean and fresh for weeks...(YES, WEEKS). NO wet dog smell! I will continue to buy this product for as long as it's available. BTW, I have 2 white dogs and 1 black and white, so keeping them clean is quite the challenge (except for now with this shampoo)! If you can't get used to the lack of lather, mix it in with your other dog shampoo!! Still will keep your dog smelling so clean.

My favorite shampoo for my boys. They smell so good after I give them a bath with this shampoo and it last a few days. And I love that there’s no harsh chemicals. I buy this shampoo all the time now.

For a few years now I have been buying this particular shampoo (and its conditioner) for my Pittie because of its safe ingredients and the fact that it's sulfate free. I started out purchasing the Patchouli fragrance, which smells ok. But now there's a new scent, Almond and Vanilla, and I'm over the moon for it. The first bottle (Charcoal, Patchouli) just came off as too overpowering for which I naturally remedy by spraying my dog down with Arm & Hammer Kiwi Blossom Odor Control and coconut oil. Both always do the job! And don't get me wrong, I still use them, but the Almond and Vanilla easily works all on its own. So now, my little girl is hit with a triple dose of greatness! I wholeheartedly thank you Kin+Kind for switching it up and creating a bottle of dog shampoo that I'm now actually excited to use for my furbaby whenever she bathes. She smells how I imagine a female dog should smell, like pure bliss! 🐶

If you love the smell of Patchouli, this is for you. I will caution you that it is quite strong and lingers for about a week in the fur of our Great Pyrenees. Your pup will be a walking air freshener, spreading his aroma all over the house. This is great for us patchouli lovers, but maybe awful for those who dislike the scent. As our pup is pure white and the shampoo is black, it can be kind of difficult to rinse the charcoal out completely. It's not strikingly noticeable, but I can tell that his fur looks a bit dingy afterwards. This is probably breed-specific, as our pup has a double coat. It hasn't prevented me from repurchasing because I really enjoy the masculine, earthy smell, and the fact that he smells good for so long after his bath. We have used this on two separate occasions after a run-in with a skunk. The first time, he was only sprayed once. A quick washing with this eliminated the scent. The second run-in, he was sprayed 2-3x, and while this definitely helped mask some of the smell, it was not as effective as the first time. This is not advertised to do so, so not really a complaint, but rather a suggestion worth trying. We probably get 4 washes out of this bottle because our pup is rather large and very furry. While he has sensitive skin, this has never bothered him.

I have 2 Belgian Malinois that are in the Florida heat every day. One is stinkier than the other and I have tried so many different shampoos that have failed to get rid of the odor of the stinky one. I had one last hope when I purchased this shampoo and am so not disappointed. I did have to bathe the stinky one twice but after a week I can still smell the patchouli and she doesn’t stink!! Absolutely recommend!!

I tried this for the first time yesterday. Have used the shampoo and noticed less scratching from my dog but coat was dry. Tried the conditioner and his coat is so soft! I have noticed less shedding as well, hoping this continues. This did make a difference in his coat.

This charcoal dog shampoo is great. It cleans my dog, rinses off easily & smells so good!

This is a lovely gentle shampoo for our pooch it smells lovely and makes are little dogs coat lovely and shiney.

Fantastic product! This shampoo left my large breed dog clean, smelling superb (at least for now), and the softest he's ever felt. My dog loves to roll around in the grass and his white patches of fur had become discoloured. They are now gleamingly white! Great product at a good price point. I highly recommend this product!

I love the smell of a fresh washed pup. My pup has lots of allergies and needs specific conditioners. This is the one! His fur is extremely soft and fluffy afterwards. He smells amazing aswell. 10/10 would recommend.

YouTube claims cats are sensitive to citric acid and this product has none in it. Got to work it in all around so my cat isn't itchy for a while. Just shampooing she gets dry skin and seems irritated without this product. Again, great product for animals, cats anyways. My ragdoll is not a "smelly cat" like that song on 'Friends', thank the good lord. She only complains a bit in the water but if you talk to her nicely she seems to handle the experience just fine. Don't let her start thinking she can get out of the tub though LOL.
