Unlock The Door To Delicious Coffee
This is my second french press, and I like it better than my first one. The thicker handle on this is easier to hold, and it comes with a few extra filters because it's inevitable that a filter will be damaged, although that doesn't matter much if you don't mind extra grounds in your coffee. Two of the filters are installed, and two more are in a bag. It also comes with a coffee grounds scoop and a stir spoon. The box says to remove the handle before removing the beaker, but I haven't found that necessary because it has the perfect fit to hold the beaker securely while still allowing it to be easily removed. I can also appreciate that it uses borosilicate glass. That is the good type of glass that Pyrex used until 1998 when they got cheap and started using glass that couldn't stand up to the types of temperature changes often seen in the kitchen. This french press operates smoothly, and has the capacity to make two full mugs of coffee if you use the size I used in my video. My mug is large. When watching my video, keep in mind that I trimmed out a lot to keep the video short. Coffee should be steeped for about five minutes. It also helps to let the water cool back down to 195-205°F before pouring it into the french press. If you have your own grinder, you may want to use a coarser grind to make cleaning the filter easier. With a course grind, brew time should be extended. I prefer a muddier fine grind, which shortens the brew time. If you really don't like having fine grounds in your coffee, switch the steel mesh filter for a paper or microfiber filters.

I never knew coffee could taste this good
Ok so I really bought this French press with the intention of attempting to make Cafe de Olla as it really needs strong flavorful coffee. I was also under the impression that a French press was complicated and not a daily use machine, unlike a regular drip machine. I was completely wrong. I’m not even a big coffee drinker (or I wasn’t but that’s probably going to change lol) but I absolutely LOVE this French press. It was super easy to use and I have used it repeatedly since it arrived. I did take the time to read over all the directions and follow the tips given which I think do make a difference. I am so pleased I decided to try something new for a coffee maker instead of replacing my drip with another boring machine. I won’t be going back.

Would have been great if glass did not crack.
It worked well the first 3 times, then the glass cracked. I was careful to not put overly hot water in and did not put cold water in until it was completely cool. It did make great tasting coffee and the customer service was great and I received a quick refund.

5/5 for real. Highly recommend this french press.
Awesome BPA free french press, highly recommend it to anyone. Wish it had metal straining teeth, but its great. The extended handel is wonderful, never worry about burning your hands. Be smart though, dont pour boiling water into it if the glass/metal is COLD, could run the risk of it cracking. Works wonderful for loose leaf teas as well, duh.

Can make a lot of coffee + has a stopper!
Okay... so I bought this to help stop spending money on $5 coffees at the shop, and I am SO impressed. I’ve been thinking of buying a french press for forever but none have really struck my eye until I saw this one. It comes with a cute stirring spoon accessory and a scooping spoon too, which is a plus.So first thing’s first - this thing is HUGE! You can make a lot of coffee with this. I knew it’d be 34 oz but I still wasn’t expecting it to be so large. That’s a bonus for me since I can drink multiple cups in one setting. Secondly, there’s a nice handle, and it isn’t metalic or glass so it isn’t burning hot when you’re making the coffee. Thirdly, I like that there’s like a “stopper” so that air can’t get in and contaminate your coffee. While some may not be a fan of cold coffee, I enjoy keeping it in my fridge and have had the past issue of the other scents of the fridge ruining the taste. Finally, to avoid cracking, remember that this is glass after all. Don’t put boiling hot water into this when it’s cold. It’s like doing that to your windshield! Make sure that it’s room temperature at the least.

This French press though......
What can I say? This is one of the best purchases I've made. After I found out that k-cups are not healthy under hot conditions with aluminum and bpa in it, I was looking for another healthier alternative. I heard about the French press. Thought it would be difficult since the words "French press" sounded intimidating. I was so wrong. I watched a couple of how-to videos and it is so simple, I can't believe I didn't buy this years ago. This one by Basa is so pretty and all stainless steel and glass so it looks great in my coffee station. No more k-cups and no more coffee filters means money saved and healthier coffee. I'm really happy with this :)

nice quality press
I had a cheaper inexpensive french press prior to purchasing this one and the top handle press broke off. Actually my sister broke the previous one, but she tends to not be careful and ruin things often- but I digress. Bottom line this press seems very well made and should stand up to even sisters that aren't careful. nice size and nice filters and even spoon. so far so good.

Great value
Very easy to use. I’ve had several different types of these and I love the larger size this offers for making more than one cup at a time. Comes with a metal stirring spoon and extra filters, which is a bonus. This is a great product and I highly recommend it! The glass design offers a nice aesthetic.
