Hitch Failed
I would NOT recommend this hitch.I was involved in an accident last September 2020 where a minivan failed to remain stopped at a stop sign. I was traveling at about 40mph when I entered the intersection. I was operating my Chev 3500 while towing my Cyclone 3100 5th wheel. My 5th wheel was secured to my truck using the Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch Gooseneck Mount. The hitch was purchased two years ago.The minivan driver pulled out and struck my truck in the front right wheel. The minivan rotated and the back of the minivan struck the right front on the 5th wheel. The 5th wheel broke free and fell ontop of the truck bed and then collided into the back of my truck. The hitch connection ball sheared off at the top of the base. The hitch base was bent and deformed. If I had been using a conventional 5th wheel pin hitch it would not have broke. The impact was not that great. Both the truck and the camper were removed by standard tow vehicles and could have been driven away, of course if the hitch was still intact. I engaged and lowered the front jacks on the camper to raise it off the truck. I then drove the truck out from under the camper so the tow could remove them.If the hitch did not fail there would not be any damage to the back of my truck or to the bed, but as such there was. The damage caused my 2013 truck in near perfect condition (stored winters) with only 38,000 miles to be classified by the insurance as totaled.I am so frustrated. And to compound the frustration the Andersen warranty was voided because it had been involved in an accident. See the pictures to see the details. It was fortunate that the accident was not worse for me and that the camper did not roll. The cost to repair the camper was just under $8000.I bought the Andersen Hitch because it's was very light and easy to install and remove. All I can say is buy a conventional pin hitch.

Just received the 3220-TBX. Purchased through Amazon from Level and Hitches. The box was undamaged. I unpacked the assembly and removed the coupler and the ball. That's when I found the the drilled ball pin holes in the Base was in bad condition. One side the drilled pin hole is good. The opposite side pin hole looks to have been drilled approximately 3/16" oversized. To be fair, this issue arose about 45 minutes ago, 8:45pm.I have sent emails to Amazon, Level & Hiches, and to Anderson Ultimate Hitch company.Update:Level & Hitches quickly tried calling me but my phone number was wrong.Called Andersen, and they informed me about my wrong phone number and, they already have shipped a new complete Hitch. Should be here in a couple of days. Now, how's that for customer service! From both Level & Hitches & Andersen.

Great hitch
This hitch is nice... Smooth and easy to install... I pull a 35ft toy hauler and can make nearly 90 degree turns with an above the bed tool box and headache rack in a shortbed f250

Anderson Hitch
It saved us a lot of money by ordering the Anderson hitch off Amazon and installing it ourself. This hitch works great with our toolbox.

Good product but no customer support.
I towed my 42' 5th wheel trailer approx 150 miles and the hitch performed well. I did attempt to contact Anderson customer service for advice. Surprisingly customer service appears non existent and I received no replies to both telephone & email inquiries. I am perplexed by this and caution future buyers of this.

Works as advertised!
Nothing to dislike about this product! I’m using it in my short bed truck and it pulls like a dream and it doesn’t bind up on the kingpin like traditional 5th wheel hitches when on a bit of side tilt.
