Perfect rock climbing shoes for intermediate climbers!
These shoes are great! If you’re looking for a pair of shoes to take your rock climbing seriously but don’t want to have to take your shoes off every time between routes these are them! They took two or three times going to the gym to feel use to have they work on the routes but I now love them!! And for the price you can’t beat these! As for the sizing: normally you go a half size down or so with rock climbing shoes in comparison to your tennis shoes. Don’t do that with these. I got the same size I wear with my Nike running shoes because all the warnings in other reviews, and the fit was perfect. Tight but not unbearable, and after a month of using them they feel great. These are $200 super performance professional shoes. If that’s what you’re looking for go to a store and try on their agrresive angled and expensive shoes to find a pair that fits the kind of climbing you’re doing. But, for someone looking for a bit of an angle, and all around great shoe for a good price: these are your shoes!

Fantastic shoes for a beginner looking to upgrade
These shoes are fantastic! The materials are really wonderful and don't soak up so much sweat like some of my other shoes. For a climbing shoe, they are actually quite comfortable. The venting on the top does make a difference and the toe box isn't so uncomfortable that it's a problem (I mean, they're climbing shoes, of course, they're going to be uncomfortable).I didn't rate the features on my review since the features I've been given the option to review aren't really relevant to climbing shoes. My normal shoe size is a 10.5 and, after ordering a 10.5 shoe size, I returned them for a size 10. Even now, I feel like I could go down to 9.5 and climb comfortably. I would say go down half a size from your standard shoe size unless you've already got a loose fit, then go down a full size.

Run small, good shoes.
Had to order a few times to get the right size. Maybe I was confused. I'm a size 9 sneaker and ended up around 11.5 for this before I could fit my foot inside it. But this is true for all climbing shoes in my experience and Amazon does free exchanges for size.Once I got a size that fit I love these. Great price, solid build quality and good shape. I use them for gym climbing only so far and I'm quite pleased.

Size 9-9.5 guys
I fluctuate between shoe sizes. Mainly because my right foot is a 9.5 and my left foot is a 9. Oh the struggle with finding the right climbing shoes. I put these on and they were tight on my right and perfect on my left. I thought about returning them for a half size up to compensate but my inner rock climbing spirit said no they'll stretch. So I wore them around the apartment for an hour to see if it would improve. These are made of leather and they did get to a comfortable state for my right foot. If you have a similar problem as I do buy the half size down otherwise these are true to the size of your nikes. Grit through an hour of cramped toes and you'll have some nice fitting climbing shoes on the cheap.

Not for narrow feet
They seem to be good quality shoes. The length runs about 2 sizes smaller than regular shoes, but they're also really wide for my average/narrow feet. Too much wiggle room on the sides and the straps won't tighten enough without running out of velcro. They will do for gym training, but i wouldn't have bought these if i was able to try them on first

Good shoes, afraid one is splitting
My left shoe had a tiny seam on the outside of the toe when I got it. I thought it was just extra rubber or something. But now that I have been wearing them for about a month, the split is widening. I think that shoe was defective, because the right shoe doesn't have that issue.UPDATE:I contacted ClimbX and had the issue resolved. They said the shoes are all handmade so mistakes do occur rarely. I was given a new pair of shoes and am enjoying them.

Wide feet welcome
Great for me. Size 15 fits a size 13W foot perfectly. Really well done, comfortable for all day use, but the rubber could be grippier. The sole pattern is unusual, but I like it. The price is great, they will pay for themselves in the first month at the gym vs rental fees. Great for a casual climber with big feet.

Good quality and affordable
I really do like climbing in these. My street shoe is a 9-9.5US but I wear socks with these so I often take them off in between climbs but I can tolerate keeping them on for lengthy durations. Climbing shoes should be tight though.
