The lights are in the walkin closet under the top lip of an IKEA dresser. It adds the right amount of light to support seeing all of the clothing colors perfectly. There may be some difficulties with midnight blue socks and black socks, but otherwise great luminosity. I can see clearly to the bottom of the 46 tall dresser drawer. It also is soft on the eyes for a morning collection of clothing for work. In addition the list is not harsh on myself or waking others.Other positives are a 1 minute set up after planning its positioning. The visual aids on the battery pack and motion sensor were easy to follow.At this time I am using the 15 seconds setting which once I leave the closet it appears to start the countdown.Negatives are simple: limited size variety. On the amazon site they had a 54inch but the information appeared different so I did not chose. I purchased the 34 inch and it works well for the ~ 8 ft closet.

So I've went through several LED fixtures and strips with 'motion activation' -- most of them fell short. This one actually works as described, which is awesome. As others have said, the instructions do suck but you can figure it out. It comes with 1M of 5-volt LEDs that can be cut to length between each LED which is really convenient. The motion sensor is okay... you have to get about 3-5 feet from it before it will sense your movement. It does have a day and night mode which is nice. The only downside is the battery life which pretty much blows. We use it in a bathroom on the 5 minute setting and it will only last 2-3 nights running at most 10 times a day. I've only got about 18" of LED strip behind it (not the full meter). The unit does _not_ function while plugged into USB (it goes into a charging state). Maybe mine is a dud on the battery? Don't know -- considering putting a larger battery in it and putting it on the side.

They're bright and work well. Recharge pretty much weekly, the system for sticking the motion sensor to the wall Is confusing and i think i accidentaly threw away the pieces to make it work, but i had some strips of Velcro that made it work perfectly

I purchased this product 10 months ago & it's working as well as the day it was installed. I'm renting a place & I was looking for the simplest solution to light a few dim closets & this was the best solution for me.The battery generally lasts approximately a month or so with multiple uses per day (set to 30s time out).Be mindful of where you place the PIR motion detector so that you don't have to wave your hands around.

Suprised how bright the strip is. Also the module can be a driver for other led types if your handy like that. What’s great about this one is the adjustable off time. You can set it to stay on for as long as 6 minutes. I tried other motion lights for the bathroom at night but while you sitting on the bowl they shut off after 15 to 20 seconds then you have to start waving your hands to get some light. Who wants to do that every few seconds.

So far, so good. We have it on the stairs for at night when the hallway is super dark.

Exactly what I was looking for - a battery-powered LED strip with a night-time motion detector. I'm using it as under-cabinet lighting in the bathroom where I only have one lousy outlet. The description of the item as given by the seller is the best information you'll get as to how it works as the included documentation isn't the best.
