Size:3 foot  |  Color:Flower A The Kind LED Bar Lights are split into two main spectrum categories, Vegetative and Flowering. There are two subcategories within each of the Vegetative and Flower lights. These are the A and B versions of each light. A AND B VERSIONS The ‘A’ versions offer the main spectra needed for Vegetative or flowering growth, or Macro Spectra. The Macro Spectrum is comprised of the major blue and red bandwidths that are readily absorbed by plants and major building blocks for photosynthesis. The ‘B’ versions offer the more secondary spectrums needed for Vegetative or flowering growth, or Micro Spectra. The Micro Spectrum is comprised of the bandwidths that are used by the plants in lesser amounts like the oranges, greens, yellows, IR, and UV. VEGETATIVE AND FLOWER VERSIONS The Vegetative spectrum bar lights are biased toward the blue spectrum and are great for all leafy greens and plants that need to remain in a vegetative stage before initiating flowering. The Veg A contains the main wavelengths needed for lush vegetative growth. The Veg B spectrum offers the secondary wavelengths needed to round out a more complete spectrum if using multiple bar lights over one area. The Flowering spectrum bar lights are biased toward the reds and are great for all supplemental lighting on high light use plants that are in the flowering stage, or as standalone flower stage lights for plants. The Flower A contains the main wavelengths needed for robust flowering. The Flower B offers the secondary wavelengths needed to round out a more complete spectrum if using multiple bar lights over one area. SUGGESTED USE Use a 2 to 1 ratio of ‘A’ to ‘B’ for a multiple light setup or when using the bar lights as a primary light source. This mix will give you the perfect 12 band spectrum that is found in all of Kind LED's traditional LED grow lights. The bars should be spaced 6”-12” apart at a 12" hanging height. The beam extends 3"-6" past the fixture.

Great for "Small" gap coverage
Great for "Small" gap coverage. I use one of these in between ever xl1000 to get a even footprint. They run off of a small ballast that has a unique cord, I plugged them into my autopilot box that runs 240v with Universal sockets and they run great.Need them down 12" from the canopy for a good light footprint. The Only complaint is the small cords and I was missing a hanger for the light so I made my own out of a carabiner and coated wire . The cords are way to short for larger grows. This is something the company needs to work on. Even the xl1000s come with less than a 8ft cord.

Solid Product, Great Supplemental Light
Picked 2 of these up after reading about them in High Times magazine being hailed as the best supplemental light of the year. I have a small 4 light garden, and was looking to boost yields for the limited space available. I went with a pair of 2' Flower B bars to act as a spectrum widening utility to be hung between my main hoods, complimenting a 1000w Hortilux HPS set up. After only 8 days the plants that are under the combination of light are blowing up, lots of dense fresh growth, that comes much more thick and rapidly then the plants outside of the reach of the bars, Ive ordered another already.So I would say it seems to be making a difference and for a couple hundred bucks to potentially boost a yield even a half p more pays the investment off plus some, I will check back in after this run is over to give a full evaluation, but so far so good.

Received damaged, used light bars instead of new as replacements of wrong items
Be very careful if you order LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower A) that you actually receive LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower A). The first order I received from Amazon were 2 LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Vegetative A), not what I ordered. I used the website to request replacements, and shipped the vegetative lights back to Amazon via UPS pickup. Today I received my "replacements." Both were in open boxes and had clear signs of previous use, possibly recycled from a commercial greenhouse. One of the boxes was labeled as "Micro", LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower B). This one was not only used. but the plastic end pieces were badly cracked. The other light was in an open box with the correct "Macro" label, but it showed more subtle signs of use -- scratches that probably resulted from the lamp being hung from the ceiling of a greenhouse. Note that due to the open boxes, there was no way to tell if either of the lights was an actual "Macro" flower light bar. So I called Amazon directly instead of using their website. I spoke to 4 different representatives, was put on hold repeatedly, wasted almost two hours of my life. The first rep was able to put in a replacement order for one of the lights, the badly damaged "Micro". I requested replacements for both, but an order was put in for only one. So I called back, and this time got the full run around treatment. Eventually, the supervisor I spoke to told me that a replacement could not be ordered until the damaged items had been received. In other words, I better call back sometime next week, and MAYBE at that point something could be done. The lights themselves are good products, I have two of the "Micro" Flower light bars, and they work very well. My issue is with the abysmal way that Amazon has handled this situation; not just the obtuseness at the call center, but that someone there seems to have expected that they could send me used, damaged light bars and that somehow I would never notice. BE VERY CAUTIOUS if you order these lamps. Make sure that you get what you've paid for.UPDATE: Today, on the fourth delivery, I received a Vegetative A light bar, not the Flower A that I ordered. The third delivery actually had a Flower A that appeared to be new, along with a badly damaged Vegetative A. I'm on the phone right now attempting to arrange a FIFTH attempt to send me what I ordered. I'm being told that I have already received 'too many replacements' and that they can only offer a refund at this point. Note that the posted price now is double what it was when I ordered on November 3, 2018.

This light source for my stashed winter plants has totally amazed me! I had moved this winter and brought a select few perennials. Hoping that they made it. Received the Kiond LED bar light and in about three weeks I went to check for any survivors the lush green vegetation was everywhere. Great relief and joy!

Good supplemental light
Seem to work good for supplemental lighting. I wouldn't use these alone though because they just don't give off enough light to get a good grow.
