Bought a Ksger T12 in September,today opened it up to use it and it says error,doesn't work!tTying to find a number to contact seller,just a big headache.

ANy product is subject to a faulty part getting through. This happened with the handle on my KSGER SOLDERING STATION but the company quickly sent out a replacement handle which I choose to upgrade to the stainless steel handle for a small amount of money. A GOOD COMPANY ALWAYS SATISFIES!Since receiving the new stainless handle I have confirmed all of the T-12/T15 solder tips I purchased are working properly in the new handle. CAUTION: Be ready to apply melted solder to the new tips AS SOON AS THEY ARE HOT ENOUGH TO MELT THE SOLDER. Waiting even a few seconds longer can cause the tips damage and will greatly reduce the life of those solder tips. Note: this is not a problem with the soldering Iron or the solder tips and should be done with any new soldering tip used in any device regardless of brand or where purchased.Initially, I gave this product 4 stars. When I received Amazons thank you for doing the review I realized I had not fully paid attention to the value associated with an honest company. Because of the way KSGER turned things around to satisfy my demanding needs and the kindness they displayed in resolving those needs it became clear. KSGER's product deserves 5 STARS. It is up and working reliably after months of strenuous demand placed upon it. THE ABILITY TO HOT SWAP TIPS IS AN ABSOLUTE FOR SERIOUS ELECTRONICS WORK. Using a separately purchased heat pad for tip swapping I can change a hot tip in under a minutes time, often much less than a minute. To my knowledge, the T-12 solder tips in these solder stations are the only cost-effective tips that allow super quick hot swapping. That alone is a great reason to buy KSGER.

The wire wasn't seated correctly in the handle strain relief, it was pulled out too far. The stain relief could use more support at the base. This was corrected by taking it apart and using a wire tie inside the handle to keep the wire from getting pulled out. Some electrical tape added in the stain relief at the base (on the wire inside of the relief) to help keep it from flexing right at the base of the handle. The OLED board was mounted crooked, this was fixed by loosing the pot nut and readjusting.It seems to possibly have other software issue that make it occasionally flash error, even with tip's that work fine in my other T12 stations.If they could get the assembly issues taken care of at the factory they would have a solid station. The all aluminum handle is very nice. Short tip to grip and nice quality feel. The silicone wire is acceptable. It bends and moves fine and also doesn't burn.Genuine T12 and T15 tips fit and work.The DXC T12-A branded station that is almost identical (but plastic traditional handle) had no bug's or build issues.
