That the same power my 30" electric oven draws.It took me 4 minutes to heat only two cups of room temperature water to boiling on my large 14000BTU center burner on my gas stove, but only 61 seconds on this induction cooker at 3500w.I was looking at a 5000w induction unit, but that cost $470. For $118, this is very affordable. It has 17 wattage and temperature settings. Very nice.

This was a total waste of $. The very first time I tried to use it, the stove ceased to function as I was starting to boil some water.

For $120 this cooker costs way less than the typical $250-$300 price tag ones. We bought this as a back up to the 2 3500W 240V we are already using. We have been using this daily for 2 weeks and so far no issues.

Can get 9 gallons of water to a boil in 45 mins. Way cheaper to operate than propane.

We bought the 1800W cooktop so we could have an extra burner and for those times when we want to cook something on a burner away from the kitchen. There is a bit of a learning curve, but worth it. As others have mentioned, watch the video to make sure that you have pots or pans that will conduct the electricity needed for induction. Without a compatible pot or pan this won’t work and an error message appears on the digital display.Second, unlike normal conduction heating where it takes a few minutes to prewarm a pan, this induction heater generates almost instantaneous heat. We wanted to sauté some onions and mushrooms and they started to sizzle in our wok almost immediately after turning on the cooktop.The temperatures can be scaled up and down at 20-degree increments. My first thought was that I wished it had a tighter scale (perhaps 5-degree or 10-degree control), but in using the cooktop I discovered that the 20-degree increment is fine.Clean up was very easy. We let the cooktop cool down by listening for the fan to turn off, and then used a wet cloth for an easy wipe down.We’ve enjoyed using this portable cooktop!

The media could not be loaded.  This cooktop is amazingly responsive to changing temperature settings. Fifteen temperature settings along with an automatic "warm" option makes this a very versatile cooktop. The smooth glass surface is easy to clean. It doesn't produce heat to warm up your surroundings which is also a plus. Very efficient cooktop.

This product is very light weight and portable. It heats up very quickly and is easy to use. It is important that you watch the video on how to use it and also make sure that you use the magnet included to make sure that your pans work with it.
