X-Sense X-Sense Link+ Wireless Remote Control for Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors RC01 (Pack of 1)

Doesn't work with home base network connected alarms.I have 8 smoke alarms, 1 co2, 1 combination smoke/Co2 and a heat alarm connected to a home base. As the house is big I tried to use the remote on a different floor than where the home base is situated.I followed the instructions and paired it with one of my smoke detectors, then tried testing it and realized that it only communicates with that detector I paired it with, and that detector was no longer connected with the home base network. So conclusion if you have a home base environment this remote is useless. This is only usable in a non home base interconnected setup.

These smoke detectors are easy to put up and easy to connect together. They seem well made. I was very impressed. I had a question for the manufacturers and they answered very quickly. I have linked together 6 smoke detectors, 3 CO2/Smoke combination units and a heat detector is on it's way to me which will also connect to them. So if one unit detects smoke they will all go off together. We also got the remote button so that if they do go off we press that and only the one that detected the smoke keeps going off. What more could you want?

Finally got it to work w/ interconnected detectors. You have to push the button longer than you'd think. I think it's over priced.

This does not set up as simply or as easily as the water sensors because it appears to not connect to the hub. Apparently you link it directly to the smoke alarms or multiple alarms in a group. I think X-Series could improve the setup experience by allowing the remote to be linked to the hub first and then linked to one or many of the smoke alarms via the application UI. I think it is a useful accessory and I would recommend it if you have the smoke or CO2 alarms. It should also link to the leak sensors so you can test and control them with one remote.

This brand has really impressed me and the development of this remote was a very bright idea. Gone are the days of grabbing a broom or towel to silence false alarms. I easily connected six devices with this remote. My favorite feature is the ability to silence all but the one sensor that triggered the alarm. Size of the remote is small however, it does come with double sided tape to permanently attach to a wall. I placed mine in the kitchen since that typically is the source of any false alarms I may have. The remote feels like a good quality product and it does take replaceable coin batteries. I expect the battery will last quite a long time. You will not be disappointed if you buy this product.
