Boxer - Interactive A.I. Robot Toy (Blue) with Personality and Emotions, for Ages 6 and Up

My 7yo son is super happy with Boxer. He plays every day with it. Battery live is about 1 hour and it gets charged in a similar amount of time. I feel this is good as keeps my son doing defferent things to have fun and stay entertained.Although the user is not doing code with this robot, I like to teach my son how the printed cards work, how the microphone listens to the sound signal from the cell phone when using the digital cards and how the other components and functions are made. This generates an enjoyable learning experience for him.I thinks that in terms of Value/Price this product has the right balance.Very happy with this purchase.

This is such a cute toy. This robot interacts with you and has an adorable little personality. He “talks” in his robot voice. You can hear him say woah when you pick him up. He dances, plays music, plays soccer and other games too. You can pull him back and he does a slingshot mode. He’s just adorable and fun to play with.

Santa brought Boxer and Mibro for my 8 year old son this Christmas. At his current age, he plays with Mibro more but I think it's because Boxer is just a little too complex for him (right now). Mibro is basically a remote control car in the shape of a robot. Meanwhile, Boxer has many more functions and it's mobility is impressive. It flips on it's back and dances. It also scan cards that come with it and works with an app which allows it to do more tricks. It's worth the extra money but, if you're buying it for a really young one, keep in mind they'll probably need to grow into it. Either way, I highly recommend the robot for any kid or bored parent.

This is fun for an older kid who is a bit old for Barbies or dolls but too young for make up and curling irons. Its cute but I dont know if she is as excited about it after using it a few times as she was when she got it.

This one was bought for grandson (5 yrs) . My son (8 yrs) had the same robot but his is black. They both love them! The robots are hysterical together! I don't know whether they are supposed to interact together BUT THEY DO! They run around together. They dance, sing, fart, laugh & so on! When we put them together they immediately acted like 2 cousins that hadn't seen each other in years! There's an app the kids can use for their phones. But if they don't have phones they can use cards that came with the robots instead. They are very entertaining!

So this was definitely a LOT smaller than I expected but it was a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it despite its size! My son plays with it almost every day. I can't comment on whether the app you can download to your phone works because the couple of times I did try it, it didn't work. Not a big deal, I don't think my son even cares about that.

It is cute and my 6 year old enjoys it. I gave it 3 stars because it does not operate as intended and the battery does not hold a charge!

Boxer came opened the battery tab was pulled and the controller was broken. Amazon replaced it , no questions asked. I was really happy. We bought the cosmo robot from amazon for a little over $200 and boxer for a little under $100. My boys fight over boxer. He’s great. 100% recommend. For maximized use a smart phone or tablet would be great but not necessary.

Really wow by what boxer can do. Is like having a new family member or a pet that you don't have to feed it.

We got this for our 5 year old for Christmas and everyone absolutely loves it. Boxer is a great toy and every review that we read prior to purchasing it has proven to be right.

Blinking red LED on remote, can't seem to connect to boxer through remote play.
