About 3 weeks post-planting, I figured out how to ...
About 3 weeks post-planting, I figured out how to make these seeds germinate in the south Texas heat. The dirt really needs to be soaked so that it looks wet/dark 24/7 for several days in a row. I was watering twice a day but after each watering the water had evaporated in about 2 hours. So one day I set the hose out there for 8 straight hours, moving it around to get the whole area. Got a little rain too and did a few more spot soakings. 5 days later I'm seeing several patches of seedlings. Will update in a few weeks.UPDATE: Before and after pics added. I let the weeds grow alongside the seedlings and mowed once the grass patches were well rooted. This is a mixture of grass and weeds because the grass is not mature enough to use weed killer yet. Will update the final pic in a few months.

Didn't work
I put this seed down on good yard soil and watered 2-3 times a week for 3 weeks. NOTHING. Garbage.

Waiting For Grass To Grow
Waiting on the grass to grow, cast out a few weeks ago (3). Hopefully soon there will be more grass to more.

So good I bought twice
After trying multiple brands, this was the clear winner. Most seeds germinated and started to grow healthy grass. I was so happy with the growth that I bought a second one.

Keep it watered
Grass seed rooted well and we had a “good catch” of grass. Keep it watered for the first few weeks and then it becomes relatively easy to care for.

8 hours of sun otherwise Zero Growth
It didn't work. I'm in Central Florida and I'm trying to regrow the Bahia grass I have that grew weeds. It's been 6 weeks or so and NOTHING. More weeds grew but that's it. Thanks a lot. If the area doesn't get 8 hours of sun, in between only 68-80 degress, it will NOT grow at all. Not even a little. Giant waste of my time, energy and it's expensive as hell for it to not work AT ALL.
