Nice product
This is a nice accessory to have. Gives a place to keep the camera cap. Sometimes seems a bit fiddly to get the cap on, compared to just dropping it into a pocket, though. Also bear in mind that only two of the sizes are on the front, and the other is on back, between the buckle and the strap. Still usable, but you have to slip the cap behind the buckle.Because it fits on the wide part of the strap, I find I have to have it too high up on the strap. I would prefer it fit lower on the strap, but this is more the fault of the strap design than it is this buckle itself.I will keep using it for now, but I suspect it will turn out that I'd just as soon drop the lens cap in my pocket, than take the time to clip it to this buckle. Time will tell, and I'll try to update my review after I've used it more.

Buckle Lens Cap Holder
This multi-purpose lens cap holder is a good idea and eliminates the tethered systems that I never liked swinging around to be snagged on something. The seller's picture of the holder did not show front and back pictures of the holder itself (not already mounted on a strap), so I was unaware the holder didn't have slots to enter your straps through so you did not have to thread the straps through the holder. My fault for not asking the seller that question as I have seen other holders that would allow mounting the holder on the strap through slots in the mounting loops. The holder works well with one caveat....a large jolt will cause the lens cap to pop out of the holder. So even when you know you have properly secured the lens cap in the holder, be careful of any jolts or rubbings that could pop it loose. You also may have to buy more than one depending on your lens cap size.

no more fight for asking where's lens cap.
It holds well my Canon lenz 58mm lens cap.I use my camera with my wife and often asking each each other "where's lens cap?" but no fight anymore.I put it on my Canon genuine neck strap, it was tight to put the strap through the slit but I could do it.This holder is a little big so that better not place on strap that would come on to your shoulder, better place itcloser to the end of strap. It hold the lens cap quite tight so that I don't worry losing the cap. It was so tight that I often dropped it offwhen I tried to remove the cap from this holder but just need to get use to use it. I like it very much.I am not sure how tightly other size of lens cap will be hold but 58mm (Canon E58II)is fit quite good.

Highly functional but over priced
I find this lens cap holder to be very handy but feel it is over priced for a single piece of plastic. It is also bigger than it appears in the product photos but I should have guessed that as the holder can not be any smaller than the largest cap (67mm in my case) it holds. I do like this idea of a cap holder much better than dangling the cap from a string with an elastic band wrapped around your lens. I did some checking and could not find any similar product anywhere, for any less cost. For what it is I would give 5 stars but will take one off as I feel it costs twice what it should.

Nice product, but mine was NOT made in USA
I have no issues with the product itself since it works fine with my Canon's lens cap and strap. My complaint is more with Amazon, as the item description on the product page says that it's made in the USA. Unfortunately, mine was not. I bought this product on Amazon over a nearly identical item ( Cosmos ® Lens Cap Buckle Strap Holder for DSLR Digital Camera Canon Nikon Sony Sigma 52 58 67mm Len Cap with Cosmos Fastening Strap ) and paid a few bucks extra because I thought it was manufactured domestically. But when I received this item, everything on the packaging showed otherwise and identified it as originating from overseas. However, Amazon made good and fairly compensated me for their mistake. They still need to update the erroneous information on the product page though.

Better than I expected
I have a Nikon D90 with several lenses. I have lost 2 lens caps before and decided that I need something to keep my lens secure without misplacing it. This works great! My only problem is that it takes a couple of seconds before I could actually fit the lens securely on this, especially the 58mm, hence the 4 stars. Maybe I just got something defective? Or maybe it's me?Great over all!

Love it.
I purchased this product because I wanted to avoid the leash type cap keepers. This product achieves that goal perfectly. The camp stays put in the holder nicely and I never have to worry about a dangling lens cap. I've been using it for about 3 months now. The material it's made of is a good sturdy plastic that doesn't feel weak or brittle. The one suggestion I would have for the manufacturer is to include cuts or slits that would allow for easier installation as I seen on similar products. I would definitely recommend this product to others or give it as a gift. In fact, many friends have commented and expressed interest on it already, so I've sent them here!

Won't hold 58mm!!!
Even though the description clearly mentions that this holds a 58mm lens cap. It doesn't. It holds 67 and 52 mm only. My main lenses are a Canon Macro 100 mm (58mm) and 50mm, 24mm lenses that use 52mm. So in my case it won't help much. I guess it hold 2/3, but the 2nd one that holds, won't fill my needs (maybe it's a good reason to get a 18-135 ;)
