ANYCUBIC Standard 3D Printer Resin, LCD UV 405nm Rapid Photopolymer 3D Resin for 6K/8K/12K/14K LCD 3D Printers(1000g, Green)

First impression:📦 The resin comes well protected in a cardboard box and a plastic protective jacket inside. The bottle is dark plastic and as with all UV resins, is light proof and a tough bottle.👀 I am using this resin with an ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 4K printer. It pours well into the printer tray and I used the printer in the garage and left it to get on with its process overnight. I wore a respirator and mask and although the odour is not great, I minimised my exposure as much as possible. You need to make sure that you don’t get the resin on your skin and I was fastidious in that regard, and all the utensils got a good clean up afterwards and blast of UV.What I liked:✔️ The resin works well with the 4k Mono printer as you would expect and produces hard and durable models with fine detail.✔️ After and IPA wash I cured the prints with UV and the resin can be sanded easily, and support struts break away well with side cutters.✔️ I have had some of the prints both painted and in raw for a while now and the resin seems as firm as day one with no creep in the detail or structure of the larger pieces.✔️ Cleaning is never the best part of the printing process but the resin cleaned off the printer tray and build plate well. I filtered the excess back into the bottle and resealed it. I am going to try and light cure my IPA residue to clean this up further.Anything I didn’t like so much:❌ Nothing specific to this resin.Conclusion:✅ This resin gives great results and as someone relatively new to 3d printing I has happy to use the product recommended for the printer with my first forays. I would happily buy the resin again and perhaps try out some other colours as needed. This review is for the Black resin in 1000ml volume.Firstly, the date on the bottle is the manufacturing date, NOT a use by date, some people reviewing this think it is a use by or expiry date, which is not true.I have used this resin, in other colours as well as the black, and it prints great, is stronger than some and I suffer less failures with Anycubic resin compared with other brands I have tried.Solids are important in resins, and this resin is high solids, some others out there are less solids, more solvents... Solvents evaporate and solvents do not make solid objects, solids do. So this resin in great value for money because you will print more items from the same volume of resin than some resins on the market.Like all resins, you need to set your machine up properly, this includes leveling/tramming as well as exposures, if you do not understand this, watch some youtube videos which will explain it.Also like all resins, you need to use different settings for different brands and even different colours by the same brand (remember, resins cure with light exposure, and different colours absorb different amounts of light - simple)Anyway, this product is great, I have tried just about every other brand out there, and this one is reliable, repeatable, and good value for money.Happy printing!

I bought this for use in an Anycubic Photon printer (original) which I mainly use to print miniatures and terrain for tabletop gaming. I’ve previously used Anycubic clear green and Elegoo clear red and white resins which have given pretty good results, although they’ve often seemed a little ‘soft’ on detail, however this resin produces much cleaner, sharper prints. Prints with this seem to be more brittle, almost crystal like, than the others but the detail is sharper (I’m comparing these after priming so they’re all the same colour), for most of my prints this isn’t an issue although I’d be careful with any delicate pieces.Odour wise this is very low, but you’ll still need to take all the precautions you’d normally take for resin (gloves, ventilation, eye protection etc) and it’s very low viscosity, similar to milk so flows well.Overall this is the first resin that’s made me realise that 3D printed miniatures can match metal miniatures for detail.The settings that work best on my printer (others may be different) are:5 base layers @ 70 seconds10 seconds per layerThe werebear in the image is from Asgard Rising on MyMiniFactory.

Great price and easy to print with, I have since moved on to the abs like resin from the same brand which I prefer as this is a little brittle compared but still a good cheap resin

I buy the anycubic resin often for my husband as it is easy to use, looks great when printing (Warhammer). The results are always good and seems hard wearing.

For a first time user of resin i went with the Anycubic brand as it was so highly recommend and i have to say i was not disappointed the print quality speaks for itself in my image above flawless results and quick printing time due to dialed in settings. Support clean up was a breeze also came off really easy and left very minimal residue and nubs to cut off so all in all i was very happy and this resin made my first experience fantastic as for the smell once i opened the bottle i noticed the smell was strong but only for a short period of time but while the machine was running the smell was very minimal .would i order again yes infact i wish i ordered more than the 500ml bottlehighly recommend 100%

I am new to 3D printing so was delighted with my first finished project. Now I have only used THIS resin so cannot comment on any other type or brand, but with my result I will use this type again.

Je laisse un commentaire 100% honnête. Cet résine c’est de la bombe, elle pas trop visqueuse, pratique car un nettoyage a l’eau suffit (eux souiller à envoyer en déchèterie) et niveau odeur elle sent très peu. Niveau rendu c’est l’une des meilleures que j’ai testé. J’en rachèterais c’est certain.

Funciona bien, la calidad de las piezas salen igual de buenas que cuando utilizaba la resina normal y creo que huelen un poco menos y poder lavar con agua ha sido una bendicion.
