How is the quality compared to opinel?

Quality is not as good as Opinel. I don’t believe the blade steel or fit and finish are as good as Opinel. The steel is not as hard or wear resistant as the Opinel and there is not much in the way of an established bevel. It’s a cool knife to have in the collection but if it is this or the Opinel, I’d choose the Opinel every time.

Ive heard that it has a convex edge is this true or is it a full flat grind?

I’m not sure but it looks like a full flat grind anyway I love it I hope this helps
