Great!
I first read the books of the goal trilogy which I loved, so I decided to get the box set of the films.Goal 1: Is a great, zero to hero book and well enjoyable, following the path of Santiago Munez from being smuggled in from Mexico, to working with his father, to being signed for Newcastle United. An excellent film for all to enjoy, especially avid football fans. 5/5Goal 2: Also follows Santiago, where he and his team-mate, Gavin Harris move to Real Madrid, and he lives it up with the big boys, the Galactico's. A very good film. 5/5The first two films follow the book almost to the work, I enjoyed the third book where Santiago plays for Mexico in the world cup, but I can't say the same for the film.Goal 3: I don't even know what to say for this, was nothing like the book at all and there doesn't even seem to be a valid storyline in place. These new random people and introduced and one of them dies out of nowhere. Terrible terrible film. 0/5Overall it is a great box set for all fans of the beautiful game, but the disappointment of the third film loses its' last star.

For Those of us who like the beautiful game
I bought this as my son and I saw Part Two on Television. Part One One was a great opening which made us watch Part Two again which was even better but Part Three was all over the place. There was no continuation there was were no main stays in the cast. The story was about "Santi" and I feel Part Three had deserted him. Anna Friel was nowhere to be seen and I wonder why she was written out. I was disappointed and I am sure most people who look at the Series will see great potential in Parts One and Two and an Own goal in Part Three.

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY/ GOOD PRESENT
I BOUGHT THIS BOXSET FOR MY BOYFRIEND WHO REALLY ENJOYED THEM AND ACTUALLY I FOUND MYSELF LIKING THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE ABOUT FOOTBALL.WAS CHEAPER TO BUY THE BOXSET THAN THE 3 DVDS SEPERATELY. GOAL 1 AND 2 ARE ABOUT THE SAME BOY BUT THE 3RD ONE IS MORE LIKE A DIFFERENT FILM BUT THEY'VE INCLUDED IT UNDER THE 'GOAL' TITLE. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR YOUR PARTNER IF HE LIKES FOOTBALL.
