The Stuff Pack is a unique addition to the HMG pack line. Easily collapsible and packable, it weighs a mere 3.6 oz. and holds 1800 cubic inches of volume. A favorite go-to day pack, one-day summit pack, or around town carry-all, this pack is a true problem solver. The Stuff Pack’s streamlined design features lightweight shoulder straps and a roll-top closure system with hook and loop to keep pack opening aligned and protected from the elements. The Stuff Pack is constructed using CF11 Cuben Fiber. As with all HMG packs, the Stuff Pack is water resistant.

Crazy lite, and a reasonable price for dyneema
Bigger and lighter than my other day packs. My back does get sweaty but that was expected. Easy to wear and pleanty of adjustment in strap length. At 3.6 oz its perfect for a few extra pieces of cold weather gear, food and water for the day. I also plan to use this around town when i zero.

Worth it if size/weight is an issue
Kind of pricey, but worth it for us. Designed for backpacking/mountaineering where weight is critical, and it packs to about the same size/weight as a bandana. We ended up using it as the "extra luggage" you always end up needing when you travel somewhere that has great shopping. Beats dragging along (and paying for) an extra piece of luggage on the trip out. Almost as tough as "real" luggage, at a tiny fraction of the size (when folded) and weight. Oh--and you can use it for backpacking, too.

LIght but small
Take note that this is very light but also it is very small. You won't be taking any overnight camping trips with this one. It is perfect for a light weight day hike but forget taking tent, sleeping bag and food. It is light enough that you could fold it up and leave it inside a real backpack in case you had a big resupply and needed a bit more room. This could be filled up with light bulky items and strapped to the top or bottom of a real pack. I don't know if I could fit 18 liters in it.

Very particular but functional
This is a very particular pack (because of the material it is made, and the form of the pack). This is a EXTREMELY light backpack, but it is very simple. If you are not in the "minimalist mode" may be this pack is not for you. It have not purses, divisions, attachment points, even zippers! But this is what I was looking for: a pack where the weight is the weight of my things inside, no the weight of the pack, and I like to travel light, but with my computer mini backpack, with my Apple MBA inside. It looks strong, it is extremely light, and it is a middle sized backpack. Check if it is what your are looking for.It looks weather resistant, but I've not used it in rain, when rain happens, I will review my review
