The Glider model is the ideal seat for both intensive training and free time cycling. It uses the structure of the Composit model joined with comfortable padding. It has excellent “all-around” features and is particularly suited for the average pelvis. The GLIDER model has foamed elastomer padding where the ischial tuberosities and rear rest. The patented features by Selle SMP, such as the completely free central channel, the original eagle-beak nose and the raised rear give these models an interesting aerodynamic touch. In virtue of its comfortable padding, it is particularly suited for people with a medium-large sized pelvis and it is also indicated for women cyclists.

Perfect for me
Let me start by saying that there is no one perfect saddle. Everyone is different. Different body sizes and types require a different saddle. This may not be the right saddle for you. I strongly suggest getting a measurement of your sit bones and selecting a saddle based on that information. That being said, I love this saddle. It is perfect for me and I've done at least a dozen century plus rides on this and my rear end was never a problem.

the best bicycle seat
I used my bike seat Selle Italia Prolink Gel Flow which claims to be the most comfortable, but it is totally false. I really was permanent discomfort and irritation on my genitals.So I decided to buy Selle SMP Glider and I changed my life. Now I think I'll sit on a cloud. I strongly pedaling long distances and do not feel any pressure in my pelvis or my genitals.This seat does what its name promises: I feel I'm riding in a glider, literally sitting on the air.I recommend this seat. Worth every Pennie
Excellent purchase and I've been pleased since the first ride. I hope this one lasts forever but if not I'll be buying another. No soreness after 4 hour ride yesterday. Took very little to get used to and is holding up well.
