Idea Waterproof Motorcycle Gear Indicator Plug & Play LED Display for Kawasaki (Red)

Works great, easy to install but any one claiming it took 15 minutes either did a hack job or have absolutely no bodywork. My 650R has minimal body work and it still took 15-20 min to remove just so I could properly route the cable. It does have the slight lag people talk about but no big deal

Easy to install, didn't even need to do any programming with my 2006 kawasaki zx10r. Worked the moment I plugged it is, love it so far.

it work problem is. gear doesn't mach when i change gears and skips gears sometimes! itll show me that im on 3 gear when I'm actually on 2 gear or what ever gear im in.

Install was super easy once I got on YouTube for directions, since none were included with purchase. After install, Went to the track and was excited to finally be able to know which gear I’m in at a quick glance. Turns out I was premature in my enthusiasm. Indicator shows the bike in first gear regardless of which gear is selected. Product runs through 1-6 fine upon initial startup but stays in 1 after that. Save your money, time and frustration by buying a legit, name brand (Healtech, etc) unit to begin with.

I had it professionally installed when I took my bike in for maintenance. It works great. Easy to see and matches my Kawasaki colors. Changes without fail. Great buy

Unit displays gear correctly 1-2-3, then 3-4-5 instead of 4-5-6. There is no apparent adjustment or detailed instructions to fix this.

This was a great product that i'm glad i added to my build. Was so easy to install, came with all installation material needed. Super bright display(even better with a double bubble). Worked great when riding modestly, quick shifting and horseplay made it bug out a bit tho (maybe a hardwired version to tachometer would suffice in terms of keeping up with faster riding). Still a great fit to any motorcycle that helps keep track of gear position if your not used to counting them. Would recommend this to any new rider or for rides not equipped with one from factory, just makes the ride comfortable. Multiple versions of this so make sure you buy the right one!

This product does not work with a KLR 650 as there is not an electronic data port on that model motorcycle. I wish it did because the gear indicator looks like a very cool accessory!
