Couldn't use this... at all.
So, I started to set up my bujo for July-December and after 2 pages, I couldn't use this anymore. This is not my first dot grid journal, I should start out by saying. I've had the LEUCHTTURM1917, a Scribbles that Matter, and most recently a Lemome. I got this to see how it was, as it had gotten good reviews. But no. JUST NO! Where to start...1. The "dots" are square, and really dark and distracting2. The "dots" are wider apart than normal (I believe they are 6mm)3. There are not as many lines, or rows. And that was the most frustrating part!I could go on, but those were the worst for me. I will try to figure out what to do with this notebook, outside of a bujo, but I could just throw it away, and feel the same way.... I just don't care.I will not be buying this ever again.

Torn on how I feel about it...
Initially I really liked this journal. It has numbered pages, a pocket in the back, a pen loop, and the paper doesn't bleed and there's barely any ghosting. Plus it comes in nice colors and they donate a portion of the proceeds to a good cause. However, after only a couple weeks the pen loop broke and I noticed the stitched binding isn't the best. The bottom stitch is not close to the bottom of the book so the paper lifts throughout the notebook and it's really irritating. I tried to live with it but it bothers me too much so I'll be switching to a new notebook. :(

the paper quality is good, and the bullet layout lends itself to both ...
I bought this journal as a gift for my husband. As an aspiring writer and artist, he has owned a LOT of notebooks and sketchpads in his day, and he says this stands among the nicest he's ever had. The binding is upscale, the paper quality is good, and the bullet layout lends itself to both writing and sketching. He has not used the stencils, but they are flexible plastic and seem like they will serve their purpose with aplomb. The fact that every purchase helps fund marine conservation is a definite bonus as well. It feels good to know you're helping make a positive impact on the environment. He is a bit disappointed that the paper does not seem to be acid-free, which limits the longevity of any artwork or manuscript, but for 99% of uses, this is a non-issue.

Very good quality Journal with thick paper
This is a really nice fabric-covered journal with an embossed orca on the cover. I like the pocket in the back of the journal and the tightness of the elastic band to hold it closed. Sometimes these bands are really loose and stretched out. The bulleted paper is really thick and a nice cream parchment color. I bought the barn red/orange color and it's a really nice muted tone that either a man or woman could use if you are thinking of it for a gift. Mine doesn't have a pen loop as another review mentioned. (That's no problem as you can buy adhesive-backed pen loops to attach.)

Great journal
I love this bullet journal! I was looking for a while for a good one that would suit my needs and be multi functional. This journal is perfect. It's simple but elegant in design with the orca imprinted on the cover. It even came with stencils to use. The pages are decently thick. I've used felt tip pens and gel pens with no bleed through. I highly recommend.

Awesome journal, but really 120?
I love the sturdy cover, I just got it in last night and already it’s been chucked across the backyard from a 5 year olds temper tantrum and chewed on by a retrieving staffordshire bull thinking it was a game and there is very little evidence of it. This journal seems a bit heavier than my others ones, but it stands up to kids to dogs so that’s perfect for me.The paper is cream color, the dots are dark and the space in between the dots is 3/8th of an inch. The product claims to be 120gsm paperweight - this *usually* refers to the thickness of the paper and how heavy it feels, ***usually, but not always***- but I call shenanigans, in my pen test the Bic Markings markers bled through rapidly on every color except the brown. This is the whole reason I bought these journals, I wanted something heavy enough to use my Bics on. Ah well. However, this is still awesome. The other pens I used: SARGENT ART, STABILO, MINI FINES, PILOT G-2, & BIC GELOCITY all held up well on the paper minimal ghosting. The pages are numbered, there are 2 book markers, a back cover pocket, and they sent 3 stencils with it and it’s awesome. The dot grid is 23 wide and 33 tall and on some pages as shown in the pictures the dots are almost in the crease. This doesn’t really matter to me though since I’m not a fan of big margins and wasted space. The margins on the outside of the sheet are big but I can use this space for washi tape page markers without crowding the first column and that’s fantastic for me.Overall I love this product, my only complaint is the paperweight but that’s fine because everything else works great.

great first bullet journal, no pen loop
I ordered 2 of these--one as a gift and one for myself. I chose the Sea Star Red color for myself because it was cheaper and ordered the Seal Grey as a gift. Overall, I am very pleased. The paper weight is good, minimal ghosting. The pages lay nicely and my dots do line up (contrary to some other reviewers). I don't have an issue with the darkness of the dots, I have no other reference for how dark/light they should be, but it doesn't seem a bother. The cover feels nice in the hand and the elastic closure and bookmark are handy. My only issue is that the grey one had a pen loop, and the red one does not. I think this is noted (if you pay enough attention) in the wording of the title, however it's very easy to overlook. Regardless, I love it so far!
