Love this stuff
I've been using this stuff for quite a few years now and Love how it makes my hair look and even feel. Shame I can't seem to find it on their site anymore, I'm afraid it's gonna go away in the near future.

The only paste my S.O. will use...
My significant other has naturally wavy hair, and the top is much longer than the sides. (The sides are shaved and the top is around 5 inches - now - after a trim!) He's very particular about what he puts in his hair product wise, as he works in industrial maintenance and is constantly sweating! This paste does SUCH a great job keeping everything where it needs to be, and keeps it in place...literally however it's styled. He has tried almost every hair paste/pomade/gel/styling product out there, and this is the only one that withstands sweat, running fingers through your hair, and even stays put when in the rain! A little goes a long way, if you use too much your hair will become quite waxy... But for him, that's okay! I actually use it from time to time as well to tame my fly aways or slick back a pony/bun. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who hasn't found the *right* hair product just yet!!!

Pretty good forming hair paste that holds well, smells different than most
As forming paste for hair goes, this stuff ain't bad. It's not nearly as stiff and chalky as some hair paste I've used, and in fact has a rather creamy feel. I like the smell of it, too. It's got a sharp odor that is the opposite of fruity, but then again, it doesn’t have that typical sporty smell that lots of men's products do. This stuff isn't as pure as the driven snow--all it takes is a cursory glance at its ingredients to see that--but I've seen hair products with many more hard-to-pronounce chemicals in it than this one. I once had hair paste that worked great and smelled great, but it had a ton more ingredients, and after a while its odor would give me a headache, so I quit using it. This paste doesn't do that, thankfully. If you've got thick hair like mine, I would say that a little of this paste does NOT go a long way. You'll probably want to put two or even three dollops of forming paste on your fingertips and run them through your hair one by one. The paste holds hair well throughout the day and looks a little less clumpy if you run a comb through your hair after putting it in. I like my other hair gel better than this paste. It's made of many more natural ingredients and is not as rigid. But still, this hair paste isn't bad at all.I'd recommend drying your hair pretty well after getting out of the shower before using this product. It doesn't seem to do as well on wet hair, at least in my experience. In fact, where this hair paste excels is in the middle of the day when your hair is completely dry but a little unruly looking. Put some of this stuff into it, and you'll have your hair looking good again in no time.As a side note, I found the company's name, The Art of Shaving, to be really confusing for a forming paste that you put on top of your scalp. In any case, this hair paste isn't horrible and it's not outstanding. It'll style my hair the way I like, without an accompanying headache, and that's really all that matters.ADDENDUM: After using this hair paste for a longer period, I definitely like it even better. My hair is a little on the long side right now, and this gel does a great job of containing it and making it look good. I also think now that it works just fine out of the shower, provided you dry your hair well. As I stated above, you can also use it if your hair is not wet. Very good stuff overall!
