They work
Every year the hollyhocks fall over in bloom. Not this year.Looking across at all but one of these are supporting hollyhocks in process of blooming and staying upright. Missing support pressed into immediate action for a young pear tree in the bad winds of a few months ago. Kept it safe!Yes they rusted before any saw a flower bed but against a brick wall nothing spoils the colour of the flowers
