Q: Can this be used for toilets connected to the city sewer system which clogs frequently? If so how often to use?

Nope. Used to break down the solids in a septic system where all the solids are in your septic tank. City sewer is free flowing. If you have clogs it can be your toilet drain or your vent stack is blocked by a birds nest. Waste of money to use on city sewer.

Q: There are 3 toilets in my home. Do I use 1 gel pack per month for each toilet or just 1 for entire home? Thx.

Only use 1 gel pack monthly. We have 4 toilets, I alternate the monthly gel pack in the different toilets. One month it's the master BR toilet; next month it's the guest BR toilet; following month it's the downstairs toilet, etc.

Q: Is it better to not use water prior to using rid-x

They suggest using rid-x by flushing it at the end of the day when no more water will be used. Personally that is the last thing I do before going to bed. I use it on the last day of the month and that way I can always remember to flush it. I hope that helps. It is a good product and I have used it for almost 50 years and have never had a septic tank problem.

Q: Already bought rid x septic tank treatment septi pacs and don't want to return them, can they be used in and left in an rv black tank for a week?
