A lifesaver
This jack is perfect for DIY drywall projects. We used it for our basement walls as well as for the 10' walls in the garage. It would be better if it would drop a little lower for loading, but we worked it out. It lifted our 54" x 12' sheets with no problems and it also made it easier to haul the sheets from one end of the garage to the other. Highly recommend.

It works.
Lift does work well. Seems a little loose on the top, but this may be designed compliance if the sheet being lifted is not perfectly balanced. Lifted multiple 4 1/2 x 12 foot sheets to ceiling and have used to stabilize on wall section while cutting the arch with drywall in place. So far happy with product. Does bind slightly when sheet is being raised. Would recommend an improved illustration for inserting the column into the base.

If you're cheap and a Rock Star troubleshooter, this lift is for you.
Serious design flaw with the "locking mechanism" on the tripod. The pin is too long. When pressing, it doesnt unlock. The remedy, carefully removing the spring that holds it in place. It only took me 45min and a bashed finger to figure out that hack. I've yet to use the darn thing but it gets a 2 star based on the "instructions" and the faulty lock.

Wobbly
This lift did the job for me but I had to make some makeshift braces to steady it. The upright fits over a very short piece of angle iron on the base and is a very loose fit, so the whole upper part of the lift from the base up wobbles side to side when you raise the lift or put a piece of drywall on it. This is because the whole thing breaks down easily for transport, but it makes it unwieldy to use. I'm done with it, but if I was going to keep it and use it again, I would just weld the upright to the base and make it more solid and steady.

Nice
Now I don't have to wait for someone when I need something held up. Oh the relief.

Great product for the novice to the professional
I should have purchased one of these along time ago. Sets up and breaks down easily. Are used it to hang 12 foot drywall sheets with ease.

Not as sturdy as i thought.
Box came damaged. Drywall holder wants to wable on the base. Wire for lift wants to tangle and acts like needs oiled. Gets stuck lifting or dropping
