2 Morse Taper to 33 Jacobs Taper Drill Chuck Arbor

While the arbor fits the 2MT on my drill press well, it sits very high in the Llambrich JK-13 J33 chuck, as show in pics. It works fine, but its aesthetically unpleasing.UPDATE:I got a hold of a Llambrich MT2 to J33 arbor and it shows the same standoff in the chuck as this one, so it looks like it's the nature of the drill chuck and not the arbor

I was looking for a low cost replacement for the arbor and chuck on a used drill press that had been abused badly. This arbor fit as designed. There isn't much else to say about a machined piece of steel. I could not detect any flaws in it and in combination with the chuck I ordred with it, it was true to less than .001 inch at the end of a 6 inch bit.

I rated this product five stars as it deserves it! I received it quickly and very well packaged. I am using it on a new drill press I just purchased. I cleaned it up and installed it in the quill. I measured the runout on the quill with a dial indicator and the needle just wiggled. I then checked the arbor in this review at the end of the taper and it had no runout on the same dial indicator. The machine work is very good with good fit and finish. This item exceeded my expectations and is a great addition to my drill press.

In order to use the adapter I had to cut the length down because it was too long for the tailstock of my midi wood lathe and ran the tailstock out of the needed quill travel.

I needed to buy this "2 Morse Taper to 33 Jacobs Taper Drill Chuck to allow me to use the new Jacobs Drill Chuck I purchased that had a 33 Jacobs Taper Drill Chuck taper. This 2 Morse Taper to 33 Jacobs Taper Drill Chuck worked perfectly to attach my new Jacobs Dill chuck to my Taiwanese AMT drill press.

Perfect!! This fit my Central Machinery 10" 12-speed bench Drill Press when used with the JT33 ShopFox Drill Chuck. You must have this arbor to use the chuck to get the correct taper. Shipping was fast and accurate....Thanks!
