The #1 reason why I bought this was b/c my son uses so much squeeze shampoo that I was buying shampoo all the time. The pump controls his usage. It certainly helps that this is very good quality shampoo! Head and Shoulders is extremely expensive. This Solimo dandruff shampoo, IMO, is identical. It is very creamy, sudses us beautifully, and is very moisturizing. The fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering. I like it so much I took a bottle for myself!

Bought these because both my daughter and husband have dandruff. I took a chance because I didn't know for sure that the Amazon brand worked, but it is working just as good as the expensive name brand. There has been a great reduction in my daughter's dandruff. I'll be buying more once I use these!

I use this Amazon basics dandruff shampoo. It is important to lather up and leave on scalp 3-5 minutes before rinsing well. If used everyday it is effective in preventing itching etc.

I decided to try the Solimo shampoo after coming across it while browsing through the Solimo products. My family goes through a lot of the Head and Shoulders and it can get pretty pricey. 4 big bottles at around 20.00 was a great deal, less than half of what I had been paying. With all of the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. I have to admit, I am pretty impressed so far. It arrived very well packaged and secured so I am comfortable ordering it online in the future. I opened it up and it smells really nice. Very fresh and similar to the other brand we were using. I put it in the shower and normally my kids will tell me that other store brands do not work as well, but so far, no one has said anything and they are all using it! It lathers and rinses very well, it smells great, and it WORKS!! So far I have noticed no itching since we switched. I am very pleased with it! And I have to say again, this price for a large size medicated dandruff shampoo is unbeatable. I am very happy with this purchase!

I just used this shampoo for the first time so I do not know how effective it is, but as other reviewers have said the pump is terrible and quite wasteful. On the first pump, almost as much shampoo came out of the top of the shaft as from the spricket. Fortunately, I found a way to deal with this. It turns out that Cetaphil bottles have the same size opening as this product and they screw on and work fine. I used the tube from the pump that comes with the shampoo to extend the shorter one from the moisturizer. They slide together quite well but do not seem all that secure. I will make a more permanent modification in the near future. In another review, I read that this product is "Head and Shoulders" just in a different bottle. If the shampoo works all this pump modification is worth it. If you would rather not have to reengineer the pump you may want to avoid this product. This is a well-known problem and one has to wonder why it is not getting fixed?

I've been using various brands, even prescription, for itchy, flaky eczema for most of my life. (I'm 45) I found that many of the dandruff shampoos helped, but also left my hair extremely dry and unmanageable. I tried Dove brand and liked it, but didn't care for the price, especially since I go through it so quickly. So after looking decided to try Amazon's brand. I was rather surprised. First off, it smells rather nice. Not medicinal like the Head and Shoulders or coal tar types. It was a nice texture, smooth and creamy, lathered right up and rinsed cleanly out of my hair. I also choose to try it as a body wash since I get patches of dry, inflamed skin. As a body wash, which I realize it's not made for, I found it worked well. Again, lathered, nice, light scent, rinsed cleanly. After leaving the shower, my hair is manageable, not dry. My skin is about the same as when I used Dove moisture body wash. And as a bonus, the zinc pyrithione is an antibacterial, so it helps with any odor causing bacteria on the skin. Overall, I'm totally satisfied and would recommend.

If you buy in bulk this is really good value. It does have that same head & shoulder smell and works about the same since they use the same ingredients. Expect there to be an explosion inside the box as everyone else seems to get it this way. I will add a picture if it allows.
