Rubies Mechanical Angel Costume Wings for Themed Parties and Halloween, White

They were great! Glued about 800-1000 feathers on, but the right wing snapped under the weight. I used wooden dowels glued together and hot glued to the inside of the plastic "arm", as well as more outside of where it broke, and it was able to be fixed. I screwed in heavy duty picture and mirror hangers to provide additional support. I would recommend coming up with some way to strengthen the area circled in my photo if you want to cover it with feathers. Rated 5 stars because it snapped due to using them in a way that was not intended, but consider this a 4 star if you are considering to use this as a base for a different cosplay.

These bad boys lasted me several years before finally breaking due to overuse. The feature to unfurl the wings is easy to use, looks epic, and will have people staring and complimenting. Highly recommend for halloween, cosplaying, or whatever else you need a giant pair of mechanical wings for...

I have a wip Hawks cosplay that these were perfect for. Though, the screw came loose and I keep having to fix it.

I must say, I didn't expect these wings to be so big!! I didn't read the product details and all, but these are amazing, and I plan on glueing my own red and orange feathers onto it! The straps are nice, you can pull the cords with a quite some muscle strength, and they are very cool for Halloween costumes!

I used these for a recent cosplay (and glued about 800-1000 feathers on them using e6000) and they were INCREDIBLE. I was really worried that they wouldn't last long after opening and closing them for several hours but they did and they're actually not much of a burden to wear. The back plate is totally comfortable and even with the feathers they remained pretty light with the arm straps. I will definitely be using these again in the future!

Awesome base for wings. Used it for a MFG cosplay. Added feathers and it held up well even with the added weight. Pictures came out great because of these wings.

(I am 5'6" and these wings are bigger than my arm span if that helps) I ordered these for Cosplaying Hawks from MHA, cause we all know custom wings are costly. Thankfully these were affordable, and look really cool! I wasn't rough with mine, so durability is medium. They're VERY light, only heavy if you add feathers like I am; but even then it's not too bad. Only DOWNSIDE is the tight straps, but they look easy enough to replace if needed. And the pull strings seem fragile, but not too hard to replace either if breaks and or would like a different style to it. The bands are elastic, and the wings feel like silk if anyone's wondering as well.

I would say if these were bought for an adult to wear, they might last a little longer. But for a teenager who was excited to open and close the wings, it’s a no go. The plastic frame snapped and I spent 45 minutes trying to repair it, only to end up tossing them the day after Halloween. The elastic straps are tight. For reference, the teen they were bought for is 5’6” and 125 lbs.
