HG Mould Spray 500ml (887653)

I didn't follow the instructions to the letter regarding length of time to leave it on (I was in a rush) but it still did the job on getting rid of some black mould on shower unit tile grout and silicone sealant. The sealant in particular looks bright white and brand new. The tile grout I have is shaded (not white) and I am happy to say that it didn't bleach it white; it just got rid of the mould. It had the added advantage of getting rid of that awful Hollywood-orange staining which gets left behind in the shower after my spray-tan-addicted niece has been in there!One point to note: it gives off some pretty potent fumes, so make sure you vent the room really well when using it and minimise the time you are breathing the fumes in.

I've brought this product several times in the past to clean my bathroom with.It is very affective and requires little scrubbing and/or reapplication. The product also makes the bathroom smell like a swimming pool which some may like.However, be warned.This time around after using the product I didn't expect to be up the local a&e 2 hours later on a NEB because my airways had closed up reacting to it. Never happened before, but I'm hoping wont happen again either.Great product to kill someone 'by accident' should they agree to scrub your bathroom for you.

Unbelievable results minimal effort! It gets rid of mould and scum in the bathroom very quickly without any scrubbing at all. Be aware of the chemical smell and it does linger for a day or two but it’s definitely worth it. I would say given it’s potency that this product should only be used occasionally though!

I found this almost impossible to use. The fumes are so strong you literally cannot breathe after spraying even with the windows open. Because it burned my lungs, I had to hold my breath, do a single spray, retreat immediately and leave it for half an hour and then come back and wash away (obviously taking care not to get any residue on my skin). Obviously this made it very hard to proceed efficiently. It worked well on smooth surfaces but made no impression at all on silicone joints. I know mould can be deadly but this is pretty toxic too. Mould can harm you even when its dead... so removing it must be done with great care and the cause of the mould growth addressed - it's not enough to clean away what you can see (because what you can't see can definitely make you ill).

I like how clean it got my balls thought I'd try it out seeing as this Corona virus is going round.
