Performance Review
To test the performance of these extension cables I ran a series of benchmark tests using a Corsair Voyager GTX (very fast) USB 3.0 drive. As a baseline I first tested the drive plugged directly into my computer, which produced the first set of results (459 mb/sec sequential read, 86 mb/sec random read, 178 mb/sec sequential write, 17 mb/sec random write). If you are more interested in voltages, 4.97V, .331A were the peak values during the benchmark.I then used one of the USB 3.0 extension cables, and ran the test again. There was some performance loss, but compared to other cables I have tried I consider this a VERY POSITIVE result. (428 mb/sec sequential read, 80 mb/sec random read, 180 mb/sec sequential write, 17 mb/sec random write). If you are more interested in voltages, 4.95V, .323A were the peak values during the benchmark. Conclusion: These are good extension cables. The braided sleeving feels well made. The female connection is VERY tight, if you are planning to be unplugging a replugging this cable a lot, I suspect this will get annoying. If you are looking for an USB 3 extension cable for a keyboard, mouse, scanner/printer, etc this is probably what you are looking for, and the tight connection is actually a plus.Bonus test: Since they come in a 4 pack, what happens when I use all four together?... Wow the drive actually worked, but the performance tanked (43 mb/sec sequential read, 29 mb/sec random read, 43 mb/sec sequential write, 12 mb/sec random write). If you are more interested in voltages, 4.95V, .212A were the peak values during the benchmark. This should NOT be considered a negative result, just be aware that the longer the extension the lower the performance.

Very pleased
I bought this product so that I could keep different USB devices located in a central location. I am running a home studio and want my camera, microphone, audio interface, and many other USB devices centralized in a single location. Because all of those devices have cables of different lengths, they end up scattered around the desk. Now, they are all in one place. The fabric covering the cables will definitely protect the cable and help reduce damage. The connectors at both ends of the cable appear to be very sturdy.

Best USB 3.0 Extension on the Market
Here are the "good" and "bad" on this product...ADVANTAGES.1. VALUE: At $4 per 6-feet extension, this is the cheapest on the market..2. QUALITY: The cable is encased in a strong and flexible woven nylon cover. The end connectors look durable. Put to usage, I have not experienced any transmission problems..3. WARRANTY: The vendor warranties the product for 18 months...DISADVANTAGES.1. There are none.

Great quality, heavy duty cable
I have 3 TVs that are wall mounted, making it difficult to plug in a USB stick. Why? For several years, Smart TVs can show pictures, play music, and movies from USB sticks.I can put multiple movies on a stick or LOTS of music. Depending on the movie length, quality, and compression, I can throw 6 to 12+ on a 64GB stick.Note: these are A Male to A Female cables.Very sturdy cables, some cheap cables last only weeks or months - I expect to be using these until USB cables are no longer used . . .

The 2 of 5 good ones are GREAT!
The three that did not have a short in them work great! Two however had to be folded and zip tied so the short wouldn’t happen when it was moved. As long as they are stationary, they work.Update: Of the three that worked from the start, one had bitten the dust, but the other two are like Energizer bunnies! They have been plugged and unplugged so many times, typed around the house and into the car, tugged and twisted and folded and wrapped, and they still work wonderfully! Honestly, though I didn’t get use out of all five, I’ve absolutely gotten my money’s worth from the two that work! (And the 2 stationary ones that have shorts in them and are zip tied, are still kicking too!)

Three out of the four I order were duds
Bought four to extend the USB for my four WD Easystore external drives. Three of the cables didn't work. The fourth one did work. Now I have to order three more cables from somewhere else because I'm not taking the same chance again from this manufacturer and sell me more defective cables.

my pet peeve.
the cables work exactly as expected but you can see how they were bound up tight and then sealed for shipping in my photos then you can see in my last photo the cable is maintaining its curves from shipping. I hate that because the cables will never lay flat now. deducting a star for making the cable destined to be messy.

USB 3.0 extensions
If you want the full data transfer speed offered by USB 3.0, you have to be sure to get USB 3.0 extension cables if you need that extra distance. These cables look nice, feel sturdy, and the female end accommodates the plug without being too loose, something I've experienced in the past with other extension cables that results in them disconnecting with the slightest pull. While I haven't speed tested these cables, all four out of the pack were functional.
