I'm a feminist but...
I still want my little (5 year old) sister to have and enjoy Barbies if she wants to! So this is the PERFECT gift for her. Got her the scientist one to go in her Barbie dream house. Although slightly worried this will give her unrealistic expectations that scientists can afford mansions....

Cute Coily Curls
She is so underated. I love her face mold which I have in another underated Barbie. Her upswept afro puff is full with the cutest coil curls. I took it down and it's equally cute. Love this doll.

Like: the dolls description matched the one we saw on Amazon.Dislike: her shoes slip easily and are therefore prone to getting lost.

Love the career Barbies!
I have purchased a few of the career barbies for birthday gifts and have been really happy. This one is the standard non curvy model, (if you are looking for the realistic body type aka curvy, I recommend the journalist Barbie) which helps when finding additional clothing. Really like the long auburn hair and lab coat. This one comes with a few small pieces (chemical flask, eye protection, necklace, shoes) so would recommend it for a slightly older child (5+) as the small pieces may be easier to keep track of (and out of mouths)
