This works really great. and was shipped to me really fast! you just need to tease your hair and hair spray it. it stays up well with a big hair clip to hold it up with your hair :)

I'm not someone who does a lot of things with my hair - bun, ponytail, or a braid is the standard 'do's for me. But I wanted to try something fun for Halloween.I just couldn't get the hang of it. I didn't get the full, round mound that they show in the commercials. A friend later suggested that I needed to use hairspray to get the "tease" for the comb to latch onto. I also couldn't get my hair to spread evenly over the comb, and I've got pretty thick hair.I can only guess that most of the problem is my inexperience with hair styling, but my advice is that if you're a newbie like me, stick to something simpler.

I bought these for use with a Halloween costume, and it worked fine for that purpose. If I was trying to use it every day I'm not sure how practical it would be. If your hair shifts at all you have this weird blank spot at the top of your head. Also, you have to get it perfectly straight on your head or it looks pretty funny. I just think it's a great idea, but not so practical. But for Peg Bundy it worked like a charm :)

Really hard to work with, but once I figured it out, it was great. Brought my hair to a new level. Just took alot longer then expected to figure out how to work it.

I didn't realize how much you have to tease your hair to use these--not worth the snarly mess you end up with!

my hair is thin so it shows thru. i guess it works better on thicker hair. at least one hopes
