I really loved the protein bars. It is an excellent on-the go meal. They are very filling and amazing but not overwhelmingly sweet, which is good. They have an Incredible taste for such whole and clean ingredients with 16g of grass-fed protein. My favorite flavor of these protein bars is the caramel but my least favorite flavor was the cacao. The cacao flavor reminds me of coffee, which I do not like. The texture is soft and chewy. The protein bars felt a bit greasy on my fingers but that did not affect how delicious they were. Overall, I highly recommend these protein bars. I personally feel like these bars would be a #1 seller if the price was lowered.

I REALLY want to like these because I'm trying to move completely away from seed oils in my diet. I occasionally need a meal replacement for when I travel or when life gets busy. So, when I found these, I thought they would be a great choice. My experience was this: 1) I opened up the wrapper and the smell was NOT good. Also, there was moisture in the package which I've NEVER seen before in a protein bar. The oily mixture got on my fingers and made it somewhat messy even before I took my first bite. 2) My first bite was NOT pleasant. I expected a chocolate flavor, but whatever the flavor was supposed to be, it definitely was not chocolate - at least not what I was expecting. Also, it was not really soft and not really hard, somewhere between. 3) After while the aftertaste was NOT good. I finished the bar because I didn't anything else to replace it today. Bottom line, I don't care how healthy this one says it is, it needs to taste good too. This thing was awful!!!! I wish there was a zero star option. Unfortunately, I bought 2 boxes. I will be returning one and not sure what to do with the remaining bars. I'm sure the scavengers at the landfill will enjoy them. My search will continue.

Love that these are packed with clean ingredients - real food (not chemicals i cannot pronounce), real raw honey (no refi ed sweetener crap), real animal fats (aka the healthy kind!) Love the flavors (so far had Cocoa and Mocha - want to buy the salted caramel) and also love that they DON’T have peanuts! My daughter is highly allergic to peanuts and we cannot have them in the house. Just love that this is healthy and safe. They have a decent consistency, chewy and satiating (not dry). Since they have real fat, I find that I do not get a major spike in my blood sugar since it’s a good balancing of the macros of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. I think that the price point is spot on - paying for real ingredients means it’s worth spending $4 a bar. I mean, if i went out to get a meal with 16 grams of protein I’d probably spend $15-20 at a restaurant (and at that price who knows if it’d be cooked in a seed oil.) Love this product - I’m hooked and continue to tell my friends and family!!!

I have seen many mixed reviews on these, and it seems like you either like the flavor/texture or you don’t. I will say, if you’re only accustomed to highly processed, artificially sweetened, protein bars (which let’s be honest is most of what you’ll find on the market) you probably won’t like these because they are clean with real ingredients and only subtlety sweetened. I eat mostly single ingredient foods and dislike overly sweetened things, especially stevia/sucralose so I truly love the flavor and texture of these bars. The salted caramel is my favorite, I already ordered another box of that flavor. 2nd in line would be the cacao. I did not like the coffee flavor and wouldn’t buy it again. It wasn’t bad, just not my preference. It is also the softest of the 3 bars texture wise, so if you don’t like the chewy texture this may be the one for you. Which brings me to my next point: I noticed there is a slight bit of variation in texture/consistency bar to bar, which is completely normal because there are no preservatives. I’ve read a few reviews of people complaining of an oil residue on top and wondering what it is. Well, it’s beef tallow duh. I don’t see any issues with this. The cacao is the 2nd softest in texture after the coffee, and salted caramel is the chewiest. Personally I like to work for my food, and this is my favorite bar so I have no problem with it. Anyone who doesn’t typically use much jaw strength to chew their food may have an issue with this texture. Overall I would give these 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price. If they brought it down a bit I would stock up!

Ok so I’ve been buying these for a few months now but I’m growing frustrated. I like the taste, love the ingredients but these are just consistently inconsistent. Some orders I receive, the bars are soft and chewy- others are hard as a rock and the cacao nibs are like rocks and can crack your teeth. Like, come on guys! We are paying like ~$27/box let’s get the consistency down! The other flavors like salted caramel and mocha are almost always soft and chewy but the cacao seems to always have the above issues. For the people complaining that it’s too “slimey” well I take it you don’t know what tallow is because this does contain tallow so that’s what the “slime” is. I continue to eat these bars and I notice the included collagen is very good for my skin and gives it a shine throughout the day. I do recommend these as long as they work out the kinks on the cacao bar.
