Love it, no drowsiness when we wake up.

Works very well for me. I fall asleep within 30 minutes to an hour and stay asleep.

It’s amazing to me how well this worked to put me to sleep as I didn’t have high hopes for it. The only thing that I experienced as far as side effects, is my eyes felt drier when using this. I already have dry eyes, but this seems to have made it worse

I have been using this for about 3 years, with my children. Both are inclined to stay up all night... and I find that a very small dose helps them relax and prepare for bed time. I ok'd this with my family Dr before giving it to my children, and we currently only give them .5 mg. Which is 1/4 of the dose that is recommended for adults. Often when Dr's prescribe this for children they will go up to 1mg. However I have read that, that can cause nightmares. My kids love the flavor, which is actually quite good. And we find that this works very well to help settle them down into a sleep/bedtime routine.

Great product

I absolutely love this product. It is my favorite melatonin product that I've used so far. The taste isn't so bad. I can't call it good but it isn't something that I dread to take every night. I take it about an hour to 45 minutes before I am ready to go to sleep and without fail I am sound asleep within that time frame. It doesn't leave me feeling groggy in the morning like other higher dosage ones have in the past. I highly recommend it for anyone that has trouble falling asleep.

Sodium benzoate is a preservative - it stops bacterial growth. This is bad for intestinal health. I take probiotics and eat fermented foods to increase my gut health and it is pretty counter productive for anyone with sleep issues to use a a product that kills gut flora. Did you know that our gut is our 2nd brain and 95% of our serotonin (one of many neurotransmitters) is made in our GUT, not in our BRAIN? Respect you gut! If you are using this for kids (because it tastes sweet and it is easy to administer) try passionflower extract instead. Our little guys needs all their neurotransmitters.
