24 CR2032 Maxell Lithium Batteries New Holographic Packaging

I have bought Maxcell batteries before and had great luck.This purchase from 3rd party seller Southeast Advanced Energy, not so much.The first two batteries I took out, my device showed low battery. So I took out two more and tried those. Same result, low battery.Use by 2027 is on every package.I got out my button battery tester and tested all 24 batteries. All dead. (See pic, reading is identical on all 24).Just to confirm my tester is working, and because I need new batteries for my device, I went down to the local supermarket and bought two off the shelf. Both come up 100% full power on my battery tester and in the device.The batteries from this seller are junk, do not buy.

I have a number of door and window sensors that use CR2032 cells. I've tried other economy or no-name brand cells, the last being Insignia brand (from a big box store), and they come up short of 100% battery strength status. Typically they read between 3.1V and 3.2V right out of the package. Not these! A tenth of volt makes a difference!Furthermore they priced *very* reasonably, and are easy to release from the packaging. A Maxcell button cell fan now!

This pack is a great way to get plenty of batteries -- in my case for my NVidia Shields -- so they're always available when the low battery warning appears.

24 batteries, 4 with expiration date 2 years out and the other 20 had 5 years to go. In comparison, the equivalent Sony batteries I ordered on Amazon 2 years ago had a shelf life of 10 years.
