Kaepa Women's TouchUp Cheer Shoe

My daughter wears a 4 cheer shoe and I ordered her a 5.5 and it as just right. So this shoe definitely runs small. Thank goodness it fits because I couldn’t find any details on what to do if it didn’t fit. I just hope they’re not too small or tight when she’s using them.Also, the tongue on this shoe is mint green. There was only one picture shown so I had no idea. I was expecting completely white shoes for cheer. Had I seen this I might not have ordered them, however, she needs her shoes now so we will keep them. I attached a picture of the tongue color.

My daughter does traditional cheerleading for middle school, not competitive cheer, so the shoes get pretty dirty. These shoes clean up easily with a simple wet washcloth and a very small bit of soap, and dry in a reasonable time frame. We usually clean them after practice or a game and they are dry the next morning. She's the only one of her teammates who still has white shoes. They are a little more worn out than her traditional Adidias sneakers, that were bought at the same time and get at least twice as much use, hence the 4/5 stars. However, they will make it to the end of the season looking better than expected, so we'll buy them again next year. Size wise they are the same as her regular shoe size, and she says they fit well and are comfortable.

I used Nike brand cheer shoes for several years, then switched over to Kaepa Stellar Lite. I used that single pair of cloth shoes (meant to be indoor) OUTSIDE for 4 years! I lost them and then looked for a leather version of those same ones. The closest I found were these. Although the leather exterior restricts ankle flexibility, I would much rather have these than a soft exterior! Make sure you pull those laces tight, because they give you more support while stunting, and as a bonus, have not slipped on gym floor during tumbling. In addition, they do not get as dirty since they are not cloth all around.I did spill Muscle Milk on them last week, which only turned the laces brown and a bit of the inside. I ran them through the wash and then air dried. Although the stain didn't come out completely, the shoe held up fine through the wash. The insole was loose after the washing machine, but it fit right back in normally. I predict the stain will come out with one more wash.I was hesitant to buy because reviews said the tongue was gray/blue. Honestly, it's not that bad. I totally forgot that was an issue until now. It is slightly darker, but the shoe laces cover it up and you can't even tell when they don't.All in all... Love this shoe. Will use for the next 4 years and recommend to everyone.

These shoes are a great buy! I am in my late 50's and had heal pain in both feet for over a year. I spent $120.00 on a pair of 5 star tennis shoes specifically for heal pain, which didn't help and were heavy and clunky. Last spring, I purchased these shoes a half size up to leave room for an arch support shoe insert and have had no heal pain since! They already have good arch and heal support, which surprised me because they are not heavy or clunky. The shoes held up beautifully with no rips or signs of falling apart in spite of heavy use, just normal wrinkles from wear. They look clean and sporty with jeans, sweats and shorts. I just purchased my second pair and highly recommend. These shoes were a pleasant surprise.

These are really easy to clean which is super important for cheer! They fit perfectly and look just as good as there $70 counter parts. Last year I bought NIKE shoes and they fell apart on the inside and never really got white when washed. These are much better shoes!
