Are you Kidding Me?
If it were possible to give negative points...I would! DO NOT BUY! I built my project fully expecting the male and female jacks would mate completely. Guess what? The female jack will not allow the male jack to fully seat. The male jack leaves approx. 8mm of the metal ring/barrel exposed. So what you are left with is a male jack sticking out of the female with the metal barrel exposed. Still works but looks terrible and could cause a short circuit. I just cannot believe a seller would sell something as unprofessional as this. Female jack needs to accept approx. 7 or 8 more mm's of the male to be safe.

Leaves a lot to be desired
The male plug is longer than the female part, so it sticks out.There are 3 solder lugs on the female plug, one apparently is not electrically connected to anything. There are 2 solder lugs on the male plug.There is not a real solid feel, let alone positive lock when you insert the plugs together.So far is has not caught on fire.

Right Plug - Wrong Jack
These were supposed to be a good set. The ones I received were not the same length units. All the plugs were 5.5mm x 2.1mm as advertised. However the jacks were for something much shorter and I couldn't insert the plug fully. Connection was fine, just left a portion of the barrel exposed.

I should have read the reviews
As another customer said "The male plug is longer than the female part" so the male plug can't insert completely into the socket. WTH? Completely unacceptable. God I miss Radio Shack and MarVac.

Just What I Was Looking for at a Great Price
The power plug connectors seem to be very well constructed and came with matching plugs (10 each). Really good price for this many connectors.

Male DC Power Plug
Works as intended and delivered quickly. Need to use a heat sink if soldering wires to the male connector.
