I bought this lighting kit and it has worked really well for recording content at home. The setup was quick and I didn’t have to do anything complicated. I like that I can adjust both the brightness and the color temperature, so I can adapt it depending on the environment or time of day. The tripods feel stable and are tall enough for different types of shots. The phone holder is practical and stays in place. Got these mainly for the tripods for another set of lights, and the tripods are reasonably sturdy and will support heavier lights by maybe a couple pounds. The fill lights are a bit gimmicky. Running them at full power causes the cords to become uncomfortably warm. The PWM circuit to control the brightness does not seem to have much in the way of line in regulation, so you need to use a tightly regulated USB power supply or power pack or it will flicker, and potentially fail quickly. There are some nice accessories for holding cell phones, a bag for the equipment, and USB C to USB A adapters. For an inexpensive startup kit, this is very workable. Plan on replacing the lights after 200-500 hours if using on high power as the power cables are obviously just barely enough current capacity to run these on high power. If running on medium to low power, I think you'll have much better longevity. I would also not recommend leaving these on high power unattended for anything more than 20-30 minutes.

It’s simple to use and doesn’t feel heavy. I’ve been using it at home, and it works really well for recording and taking photos.

I needed a pair of LED lights for producing videos and I did not have a large budget. I purchased this set with realistic expectations, which were not fully met. The ability to change color temperature is nice, but for my purposes I set the white balance on my camera, so it is not something I need. The panels themselves produce a decent amount of light - plenty for my purposes. I would like a larger panel, but that increases cost - and again, my budget prevented me from getting larger panels. This kit comes with stands, and this is where it fell a bit short. The stands are too short, which you can determine from the product description. I do have some better stands, and I was able to take the "heads" off the stands in the kit and mount them onto my better/taller stands. Having done this - the panels have worked well and have held up under regular use for nearly a year now. If 6 feet is tall enough for your use - this is a bargain!
