Very happy with this microphone. Great quality for a good price. - The magnets are very strong and won't fall off easily from a t-shirt. - Fast charging and battery lasts long - Crisp and clear voice, audio quality feels professional Things to have in mind: -You do need the app to change settings such as (noise control: weak / medium / strong ), as the default is set to "Weak". "Weak" still has a pretty decent noise cancellation tho. - The dead-cat doesnt fit in the charging case, but you can remove and insert effortlessly. If you're looking for a great value wireless microphone, this is it. I did my research before purchasing and I dont regret the choice.

Truly amazing, that's what they are. For the money, you really will have no complaints at all. They sound amazing - ex-Sound Engineer and producer here - they really do, and unless you're using them for some high quality recordings that you really feel needs the best, then these really will do 95% of jobs with aplomb. They are absolutely good enough, and if you're recording with your phone then these are perfect. The first job they will be doing for me is probably the most important recording session of my life, recording my toddler singing at her pre-school! They're nice and tiny, and as long as I can get her to not want to play with it constantly, then I don't doubt that I'm going to cherish this recording for the rest of my life. One tip, don't be like me, I ripped them out the box and didn't bother reading anything. I plugged them in to charge, and nothing. It turns out there's a tiny piece of plastic protecting the charging strip and I completely missed this. Whoops! My only real critisim at this point is the level control of the mics, in the app it's just a little rudimentary offering you steps of changes rather than a smooth transition from quiet to loud. It's a minor issue, as I'm not sure I'll be able to get it quiet enough for my over enthusiastic toddler, but time will tell. Love the fact that you can also turn the LED off on the mic too via the app, that's a lovely addition as I thought I might have to stick some gaffer tape over it. I recommend these to one and all, no question, they're an absolute steal!

I recently purchased the Hollyland LARK A1, and overall I’m extremely impressed. The sound quality is crisp, clear, and miles ahead of the built-in microphones on my phone. The transmitters are lightweight, the range is excellent, and the whole system is truly plug-and-play. Battery life is solid too — perfect for long filming sessions. My only small gripe is that I haven’t found a way to record in true stereo (using both microphones at the same time) when filming TikTok videos. Each mic works perfectly on its own, but TikTok seems to only accept a mono input from the device. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if stereo is important for your workflow. Aside from that, the LARK A1 is a fantastic piece of gear and absolutely worth the purchase for content creators looking to improve their audio quality.

I have to say I'm REALLY impressed with these! Solid quality and sound VERY impressive for the money paid - these are particularly good for their sound isolation settings (which some of the more expensive models don't have!) They are incredibly lightweight, very well made and durable, simple to setup up (just plug and play!). Battery life is also excellent (comes with a charger case, 2 windsheilds, and a carry pouch also!) DEFININITLY recommend!

Great little starter mic system. Easy to use just plug and play. Great app to adjust sound quality settings. Long battery life for 2hrs with each mic, even with noise cancelling on. Magnetic feature really works well through most materials.

For the price, these are incredible lav mics. I have used these with iPhones to do some quick voice notes, with a PC to do VOs for tutorials, and even in live productions on sports broadcasts as referee microphones. The USB-C output works with Tricasters and with 120ms latency added in the audio mix they sync perfectly with BNC Video Sources to create a high quality referee microphone. They are great at removing any ruffles and require little to no gain and no need to ride the faders either, perfect for the price. Unsure on distance for these though as my test shows were pretty close to the action. For future shows these would be placed in a Slave production unit close to the action and then NDI'd into the main mix.

*UPDATE* TERRIBLE customer service. The seller contacted me to say that they were sorry I wasn't happy with the microphones I had ordered and that if I would like a refund I was to simply reply to their message saying this. I replied, requesting the refund, only to be told that the refund offer is simply a "standard template" they use to make initial contact with customers and that they were sorry for the confusion. They go went on to say that what matters is that the microphones work and not the money! Well I'm sorry, but to me, the money IS more important since I have already purchased replacement mics whose performance is much better! They are so easy to connect. They're lightweight and portable. Battery life is short but worse than that is the sound quality. They pick up a lot of background noise, even in a quiet room, to the point it sounds like talking to someone on a car Bluetooth system. There's no way to adjust sensitivity or gain so you're stuck with it. I'll keep them as a backup buy I'm going back to my old Hitozon mics.

Buy the mics! I’m not a person that ever leaves reviews, but the Hollyland Lark A1 brought me out of my shell to say something. I just received the mics today and was excited to test them out. At first look out of the box they are ADORABLE! Super tiny and lightweight. I also love that Hollyland included a little drawstring bag to hold the cord and little wind furry things in. I popped these adorable little gems into my iPhone 15 Pro Max and became even more impressed. The setup is super simple (you have to download the Hollyland app). Once I plugged them in and started recording video I am actually stunned at how well they sound. I purposely turned on loud noises in the background (inside my bedroom) such as my fan and white noise. I turned on the medium noise cancellation and I couldn’t hear the background sounds at all. The best part is my voice/audio sounded clean and crisp and not like I was in a box (like some other brand mics do with NC). The quality of the mics feels very premium. The size of the charging case and accessories is super portable. Easily fits in my bag for daily carry. I’m just blown away at how great and simply the Hollyland Lark A1s work.
