Both matts are thicker & softer than anticipated, velvety texture.Shaped matt smaller than expected, fits sink but not toilet.Bathmat holds a lot of water, we have a cold, poorly ventilated bathroom though.

The bath mat is great absorbancy and easily dried when made wet - however the pedastal mat is too small to be of any real use, moves underfoot and rarely stays in place - so much so have stopped using it at all.

Lovely design and look great in my bathroom. They aren't very absorbent though.

it feels soft but feels very wet after shower. It is way too small too.pattern is the only thing going for itBest thing is it came earlier than anticipated and i could see every step of the journey

Wanted something a little more exciting that the usual mat so didn't mind waiting a while for this to arrive.It is "okay", but very thin (not all that nice on the feet!) and the material is synthetic and doesn't really absorb much water, but what it does absorb seems to stay in there for days! The non-slip texture of the underside almost as the opposite effect and traps drips and dribbles underneath. We can't leave these down in our bathroom as they just stay damp all of the time so we lift them after a shower onto a radiator. I know that you could say the same for other bath mats but we have some older cotton ones that are really thick and they only needed lifted if they got completely soaked, otherwise they absorb well and dry well without any intervention - two important features of bathroom mats I feel!
