Size:Extra Strength It's hard to beat the spicy clove scent of fresh Carnations. The problem with Carnation is that there just aren't many Carnation fragrances on the market and it's common for them to smell phony. I introduced this formulation after working on it for 5 years to get it just right. There's no phony in this one. It's a dead ringer and it lasts and lasts. That said, this fragrance is slow to develop. It takes a few minutes so please do not open the bottle to judge the scent without spraying it on you to give it a fair shot. Check out our customer feedback to see what others think about our Carnation. It's very potent, so I recommend going with the "Regular Strength" unless you have trouble holding fragrance. One spray only at first no higher on the body than the wrist . My wife says it smells just like a Red Carnation. If you are one of the many people who have been trying to find the real Carnation scent in a Perfume, your search is over. Our Perfumes are not cheap formulations that go away quickly. We are perfectionists and we love fragrances. We insist on getting every formulation just right. Our Perfumes will always be very similar to the actual fragrance. “Regular Strength” will stay on most folks for 6 hours or more. If you do not hold fragrances well, my "Extra Strength" Perfume will be helpful. If all fragrances disappear quickly from your body, the "Super Strength" may be your best choice. However, since this fragrance is quite strong by nature, the "Extra Strength" should be sufficient in all but very extreme cases.

I fell in LOVE with the Scent, and I feel Spoiled!
I received this True Carnation Perfume today, sprayed it on my wrist, and fell in Love with the scent! I got the extra strength Perfume, so it is POTENT. I'm used to using colognes, so have to adjust my usage. It's so nice to be able to afford such a Beautiful, Luxurious Perfume only the wealthy could afford! I feel spoiled! I think if I spray the perfume "toward" me, and I "walk into it", that should be enough to give me a nice scent without having the scent so strong, it would be offensive. I will have to let you know how it wears this way. I am IMPRESSED! This is Carnation with a peppery spice; very feminine!

True Carnation, Not Synthetic!
I've searched for YEARS to find a carnation scent that actually smells like the flowers...I've FINALLY found it! It may be a tad bit "clovey" if too much is applied. A light hand and you'll be amazed! I feel like I've be immersed in a field of carnations! How I wish they had hand and body lotion, shampoo and conditioner! I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

WAIT FOR IT...
Okay... I love carnations and I love them in my perfumes, especially Paul Sebastian Design and Jil Sander no. 4 so I thought I would blind buy this scent and try this perfume note on its own. Well, I got it, nicely packaged with an extra scent sample, sprayed it on and felt like I was assaulted by that medicinal clove scent that seems to be the scented plug-in that the dentist office has... Not what I was expecting and thought " what a waste." A few minutes past and the scent leveled out, softened, and I could smell my beloved carnations. If you buy it, WAIT FOR IT!! I have been wearing it all weekend, and... I have been layering it under various perfumes and it has been deepening the florals in them. What a great find.

W O W!!!!!!!!! Years ago I used to wear a well known brand name of carnation creme sachet that was discontinued. I searched for years for a product that could replace it and that smelled as heavenly. I just found it!!! Just got it in the mail well in advance of the deliv. date, and this spray perfume is EXACTLY like the sachet. If you want that deep, spicy, sensual carnation scent, without a heavy "grannys' floral" bouquet, this is the one. I now have a source for it and am thrilled with how wonderful it smells. So very happy.

The Absolute Definitive Carnation Scent
You know when you open the cooler at a flower shop or even at the supermarket and you get that fresh, lovely uplifting scent of carnation? This is it. Not heavy or cloying, with just a hint of fresh green, this is a red carnation. Other carnation scents just do not compare-- typically they've got other notes in them that impair the carnation scent, making it too soft or powdery. Or they are very dependent on clove, making them too spicy and head-shop. This is NOT them. This is unadulterated carnation. I think the perfumer is the same one who created (to me) the absolute best rose fragrance ever, "The Perfect Rose", which for lovers of rose fragrances is a must have. Truly amazing, too. For day or evening wear, or at even at bedtime, this carnation perfume is just fabulous. My search for a true carnation perfume is over. I feel lucky to have found it and will never be without it!

Lovely nuanced lasting scent
I received the carnation perfume as a birthday present and absolutely love it. The scent is floral but very spicy and actually lasts - - all the other perfumes I have fade away...

Love the smell of carnations!
This is a perfume scent of my favorite flower. I love the spicey notes. It can be a bit vibrant and they along a bottle to tone it down if need be.
