(I had already attached a pigtail to the gateway so that it had external connections for this antenna. The ribbon portion is very thin but durable; in spite of a wide sill, we are able to close the window completely with this adapter passing through. We did have to remove the screen. Signal is good with no obvious drops or interruptions. Review: Through closed windows.. - It does what it says, manages to squeeze through a closed window and not lose any signal at all. I managed an outstanding 730MBps on a Three mobile sim router, after previously only receiving 60MBps average. Tested squashed between the closed window frame and open window without the pressure. Zero loss. And the cables and connections are numbered to help you connect the correct cable to the correct socket. Never found myself recommending a cable before lol but had to! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waveform window unit *by G***N on 7 November 2024* The concept of being able to traverse a window and still be able to close the window is a great concept. The flat wiring works well. I'm using this in my camper. The only issue is the fragility of the interior leads. In conversations with Waveform, they are addressing this issue to make these interior leads more stout and less fragile. One of the interior end connectors popped off during installation. Waveform quickly sent out another unit. I will reinforce both ends before I install the replacement and I'll be looking for the improved, updated unit when it comes out. If you buy this, I suggest that you carefully reinforce both interior connector ends prior to install.
