Now we're greeted with facts from this book every time we talk to him on the phone. Definitely a testament to how well this book does exactly what it says it will and provides little known facts for folks who love facts. Which he does.I might not ever buy him something like this again, though. Mostly because he won't shut up. But great job to the author!

I love any and all of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers. I recommend all of the Bathroom Readers to anyone thinking about purchasing one. It doesn't matter which one you get, they are all filled with random facts that you would not have otherwise thought about. This one in particular("The World's Gone Crazy") is great because it really does cover some crazy, oddball, facts that you probably would have never known otherwise. I got the Kindle version and find it to be just as good as the physical copies, plus I can read it anywhere I like, not just while I'm at home. Like I said, I recommend this one and every other Bathroom Reader from Uncle John to anyone that loves random facts and other tidbits of information.

Better than expected

Fans of the BRI series will enjoy this installment, which focuses on the weird and the ridiculous aspects of our world. Some of the entries may seem familiar and may be, we suspect, reprints or rewritings of entries from earlier editions. Still, it's a fun book to keep in the bathroom, and, as always, a whole lot better than re-reading the labels on the shampoo bottles.

Not much more to say than if you get the chance to pick up any of his Bathroom Readers you should be prepared to start a library of them. They are without a doubt the best thing to cheer you up and be educated at the same time. Here's hoping that he never stops putting these books out. The amount of material and the sheer size of these books makes these a no brainer. Keep up the good work Uncle Johns Bathroom reader!!!

Our whole family loves these books! I buy a new one for my husband every year. Each book is packed with information ranging from a couple sentences to 1-page, so each subject can be quickly read. The information is truthful and is like learning something new each day, in a fast, fun way. IT is also written in a straight-forward way, not highly technical, so anyone can understand the content. Enjoy!

Just call me an Uncle John fan! It's important to me to get the latest books so the information is up to date. So, I guess I'll just have to buy every new one that comes out! Just love to read something before going to sleep every night and these books are perfect for reading a little or a lot (no trying to finish a chapter when your ready to sleep).

This is just one of the Bathroom Reader series and one of my favorites. There's a variety of topics and the stories cover the globe but it's the history lessons in all of these books that intrigue me. This book and 24 Karat Gold are interesting and fun. It's hard to remember which book is which sometimes and I read them at the same time.

I LOVE these books and have read most of them. This one is possibly the best so far. Fantastic read!
