Well made, easy install.
I bought two of these one for a stainless kettle and one for an aluminum. The stainless works great but my cheap aluminum kettle is a little sketchy because the valve takes quite a bit of pressure to turn. The instructions seem to be for an older kit with only one silicone washer, but after a little trial and error it sealed up great. The thermometer is accurate but the temp probe is long and sticks in several inches so using a wort chiller is hard.

Thermometer too short for mash tun use
Kit worked well for a lower budget build on a homebrew hot liquor pot. Thermometer was impossible to adjust.

Grate weld less kit
My wife got me the brew kettle weld less ball vale and thermometer kit for some old set kegs that I turned into a mash tung.The drill out and hole saw worked grate.The pit is a high speed pit, but the1/2" hole saw is a low speed. It did a grate job just take your time and go slow and use good lube and you will make yourself a high quality brew kettle.
