We bought this to string up over our travel trailer to offer a little extra protection. They weren't even up for 24 hours and in the morning I found 4 of the grommets had ripped and torn through! See pictures. We had no wind or bad weather and I'm, as an almost middle-aged, out of shape female, the person who put it up. I'm not strong enough to pull the bungies hard enough to rip out the grommets so the only reason must be that it was very cheaply made. I thought it felt quite light compared to the one I was replacing when I removed it from the box. I will be asking for a refund.

I was a bit disappointed in this tarp because I would not classify it as heavy duty or water proof. I purchased this to use as a cover over hog panels for a pig shelter. I had purchased another heavy duty tarp that was brown (different vendor) but the shelter was too hot. So I looked for a silver tarp to deflect the sun. It ripped very easily when I was pulling it over the panels, if it got stuck on anything. The mesh was not tightly woven so water came through pretty easily. When we had another string of severe rainstorms, I had to put the brown tarp back over the shelter.

Was not as thick and durable as expected for a $50 tarp. First time using it to cover my boat I pulled a bungee chord clipped at the grommet and the tarp ripped 8 inches wide and the grommet fell out of the material. I may have pulled a bit too hard to snug it down, but my previous tarp that finally started leaking never had that happen after hundreds of tie downs. Repaired it with duct tape. Will give this tarp a chance over the winter to keep the rain out, but I can't see spending $50 again for this tarp (18' x 24'). Sorry, had high hopes.

Way too thin had to send back - is not really "heavy duty" I cover my boat every year and store it in the desert. I have used "ozark trail" brand in the past they are 10 mil thick on the heavy duty. Don't leave this one in the sun.

As others have noted extremely poor quality control and faulty manufacturing process. As you can see in the photos some grommets are positioned either too close or halfway off the edge rendering them weak and unusable. One of the corner grommets was mangled from going through the machine that's folds the tarp, also unusable. As far as the quality of the fabric time will tell but first impression is that it is infact much heavier material that the blue tarps and even the brown/silver tarps. This makes the material fairly stuff and it the intended purpose is to wrap something with it it may be difficult due to this. My application has the tarp laid out completely flat, hopefully the sun will relieve some of the heavy folds in the material. As far as durability and UV resistance, I am not hopeful only because other tarps fail miserably when left exposed to the elements. We'll see how this one does.

I think the thickness and material is great. The grommets are not so good. The corner grommets are reinforced. The one on the sides of the material are not so good. First time in use they are pulling through the material. Emailed the manufacturer with no response.

I am only sorry i could not give it a zero start. Purchased in August and trashed by December.After much discussion Trademark says they do not provide any warranty on this product. Product was nice and heavy. Very happy until I saw the misaligned grommet after we struggled for an hour to get this up in the heat. Costs a mint to return

Not impressed. Although it's cheap and no doubt waterproof it's clearly not passed any quality checks before being sent out. Two of the eyelets are faulty and even though it would do the job, it's not what I'd call heavy duty.. I cant send it back as I need to use it for this weekend. Bit disappointed.

Just this minute put it up and its turn already. Definitely not worth the money. Poor quality and very disappointed.

I bought 2 of these tarpolins both being under and over a kids sandpit. The sandpit has it's own lid and weak tarpolin style cover but it cannot cope properly. When I added the second one over the top the sand is perfectly dry. If you're going to do the same thing I would suggest getting a wider one as I didn't allow enough coverage I would like but a brick is holding it down but covers the sides enough. Definitely strong and waterproof.

Purchased specifically to use storing a mounting pile of boxes, outside, whilst moving house! Brilliant, hardwearing, waterproof and easily maneuverable sheet of tarpaulin which did the job 100%! House move a complete and dry success!! Thank you!

Product was bought to cover large padding pool for the summer. It is quite thin and probably won't last more than one summer. This was a 2 piece pack and unfortunately one piece is faulty and only has eyelets on 3 sides so can not be secured properly. The second piece has eyelets on all 4 sides as it should.Very inconvenient because expect I have to return both pieces to get a refund which means pool will be uncovered until a new one arrives.
